Chapter 6: Not Alone

{Boy meet boy(s)?}

Kyran POV:

I wish I had more confidence in myself. Why can't I just tell her how I feel!?! I kick a small rock that was in my way. "WHY!!!" I cried. I don't understand why I can't just man up and tell Gold I like her.

I locked my eyes on my phone. Just looking at our text messages. Maybe I should text her and tell her how I feel? No, that stupid I should express my feels towards her in person. Sigh. I turned a corner, only paying attention to my phone and not the sidewalk.

"Yip! Yip!"

I looked up from my phone to see a small back dog and its owner who had orange messy hair and blue eyes. God his eyes are beautiful. It like I'm staring into two large blue diamonds. He looked at me blindly, like he wasn't sure what to do, as the dog sat in front of him. Weirdo. Maybe I should say something to make this less awkward?

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going"

"Oh it fine, neither was I" He smiled. He then picked up the puppy in front of him.

"You see I'm actually blind. So if I was staring I didn't mean to" He laughed nervously.

Oh. No wonder that dog has a harness, taking a close look I can see that the dog is actually a guide dog. Now I feel bad for thinking he was a weirdo. I am so glad no one can hear or read(?) my thoughts.

"Well it was nice meeting you, but I got to go," I waves, then lightly slap my head. He blind dummy.

"Yea I got to get to class, maybe we will meet again?" He said as he walked away. That was rather embarrassing. I hope I'll never run into him again.

Wait did he say, class? Shoot I was so focused on my feelings for Gold that I forgot about school! This is awkward, now I have to turn around. I quickly turned over and walk toward the boy. Maybe I should talk to him if we are going the same way or would that be weird? WHY AM I SO AWKWARD? I'll just walk past him. Phew, luckily he didn't notice me.

{Time Skip: 15 minutes}

Okay, it should be fine, I'm only a few minutes late. Hopeful Miss Busick, won't mind. I'll just take my sit. The seat next to me was empty, as always. Bearly anyone sits by me, other than Gold and Funneh but they aren't in the same math class as me.

"Mind if I sit here?" A boy with black hair and green eyes asked.

"Sure," I say. Not like I could have said no if I wanted to. There nowhere else for him to sit but sit in the very front of the class, which no one wants to sit in.

"Cool, I'm Draco" He holds out his hand. I shake my head, I'm not a huge fan of other people touching me. He gave a sad look then sat down in the seat next to me.

"My name is Kyran," I say under my breath. Draco gives a small smile, he must be an extrovert. Draco then focuses his attention on the teacher after putting his notebook out, wow, his notes are so organized! Draco's eyes light up when he sees the boy from early walks in the class. They must be friends or something.

{this is to skip time but the characters are in the same scene. I noticed people use it but don't explain it. So when I use it, you know what it means}

"Hey, Kyran would you be interested in hanging out for lunch?" The raven hair boy asked. I wouldn't be able to eat with Gold and Funneh today because Funneh got sick. So maybe I should take his offer? Maybe we could be friends?

"Sure, sounds good to me!" I say.

Ring.

Draco packs up his things as soon as the bell rings. He struggled to fit everything in his backpack. I on the other hand easily slip my notebook into my backpack. I turn to look at Draco who was starring at the blue-eyed boy from earlier. He looks to the dog, then back to me.

"Isn't that dog cute?" I asked, laying a hand on his shoulder. he leaped at my touch. He aims his eyes towards me but then quickly looks at the ground. Did his face look pink? Perhaps he is embarrassed because I scared him? Oops, my bad.

"Sorry didn't mean to scared you" I murmured.

"It fine, and h-s-she is really adorable" Draco commented.

"I actually can't stay for lunch, sorry Kyran" Draco claimed. He then walks out of the classroom. And I'm left alone, even the teacher left.

"It fine," I say to myself. My phone then lights up and I see Gold text me. I slide the screen right to lock my phone.

This was great timing. And Gold actually needs me for something. Hopefully, she is okay.

{When I was writing this I felt lonely, cause it like I'm just talking to myself. So now anytime I write conversations I'm now going to think I'm chatting with myself

{Time Skip: 20 Minutes}

Gold POV:

Where is he? It fine don't panic or stresses out. He should be here soon. Kyran is never late... I gazed at my phone, the time reads "11:55 am". He only 10 minutes late, I wonder what happened to him.

"Hey Gold! Sorry, I'm late" Kyran waved. I looked up from my phone to wave back at him. Thank God he here.

"Thank you for coming" I thank him, as he sits in the seat across from me. His blue eyes land on my light brown ones. It like there looking into my soul, I feel like he can see the real me through them.

"No worries, so what did you want to talk about?" He wondered.

"There something wrong with Funneh, it like she isn't herself anymore and I not sure what to do about it" I started. I look over to Kyran. He gives me a nod, showing me he was listening. I continue, "And I feel like there is something off about Rainbow too. She has been quieter. What should I do? It like my family is being broken up by secrets" I give him a few minutes to think about all the information I had just said.

"Maybe you should talk it out. Tell all of them how you feel. You guys have a strong bond that won't be broken by some silly little secrets"

"You're right! I just need to tell them how I feel!" I jump out of my seat from joy, this plan will be perfect! I quickly thank him.

"Thank you for all your help" I wrap my arms around him. His face becomes a light shade of pink.

"I'll always be here for you, so you don't ever have to worry. I'll never leave you alone" He hugs back. I could feel his heartbeat pick up in speed.

Those words felt so comforting, for the first time in a while I felt safe. My heart was now beating as fast as his. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.
