We were back at room 809, the front of Tomura's red sneakers only peeking into my temporary home. He was about to leave, as it was just a simple drop-off, but then I remembered.

Tomura's back was turned, his feet already dragging themselves down the hallway. "Wait!" I yelled, catching his attention instantly.

"Huh?" Tomura mumbled, before facing back in my direction.

"I know it's late but, if you want, we can hook up Smash Bro's to the television." I said, hoping he would accept my request.

Tomura hesitated for a moment, as it was nearly four in the morning. However, he couldn't resist the game, especially if he got the chance to play it while it's hooked up to the television. "Sure." he replied.

He came back inside, locking and securing the door behind him. All of the lights in the room were off, the only illumination coming from the bright, blue television screen. Almond was awake, his body sulking in the comfort of the hotel bed.

The rain was pouring louder than before, hitting against the tall windows which were decorated with sheer curtains. I was cold, the outside temperature and the air conditioning causing me to freeze up.

Tomura found his way on the bed, still wearing his gloves. As I took the time to set up the switch and attach it to the television, Tomura began to talk about things he had never told me about before. "Dogs are nice." he said, caressing over Almond's soft, auburn fur.

"Oh, yeah?" I responded, not caring much about what he had to say currently. Fidgeting with cords in the dark was frustrating, but I was slowly connecting the dots.

"Yeah, they really are.. I owned one-" Tomura spoke, before getting shut-down by Almond's voice. His gentle yaps weren't loud enough to disturb others, but they surely shocked Tomura.

Almond found himself all over Tomura, repeatedly licking up his pale cheeks. I laughed, as Tomura fell back on the bedsheets, groans and whispers escaping the seal of his chapped lips. "Agf, this dog.."

"He seems to really like you, maybe even more than me." I teased, finally finishing the setup and attachment of the two devices.

"What happened to your dog, anyways?" I asked, before heading over to my settled luggage.

I unzipped the small luggage, trying to figure out my way through the darkness of the room. My blinded fingers messed everything up, but finally arrived at their destination, which was my packed clothes.

"Oh, you know. Just the cycle of life-" Tomura responded, trying to talk to me and entertain Almond at the same time. "And such." he continued.

Tomura seemed to busy playing with Almond, so I didn't feel the need to warn him about not looking back. I pulled my heavy sweater over my head, taking it off and throwing it back onto my piles of packed clothes. "Just a change into my pajamas." I thought to myself.

In my head, there was an imaginary timer. One that would tell me "You only have ten seconds to do this." and so on. With this thinking, I was able to change into comfortable clothes in a mere thirty seconds, and the best part was that Tomura never saw a thing.

"Are you done yet?" he asked, surprisingly becoming more vocal as the minutes passed.

I was only wearing a tank-top, one that exposed a small bit of my lower stomach. With a pair of loose shorts, I looked as if I was ready to head to bed. Tomura scouted me as I crawled onto the mattress, his crimson eyes exploring my body despite the darkness of the room.

Almond crawled into my lap, as I began to split the controllers into two. "This one is for you." I said, hanging Tomura the blue one.

"And I'll be Player 1, so the red one is mine." I continued, Tomura now relaxing his body against the back-pillows.

I laid back next to him, the top of our shoulders bruising against each other. Goosebumps began to arise from my skin, forming down my arms and legs. "It's cold." I complained, trying to find an excuse for me to scoot closer to Tomura.

But it worked, because now I could feel his breath against my skin. Tomura's heart was beating rapidly, I could just about hear it reaching and hitting against my ear-drum. As the game loaded, we finally were able to duel each other in a proper match.

For the first few rounds, I managed to beat Tomura's pride into the ground. He grew frustrated, his body lightly shaking in place. "You should really take those gloves off." I said, trying to give him some helpful advice.

"No, it's fine." he groaned, wanting to give up on the game all-together.

We only played for thirty minutes, before my eyelids began to grow heavy. I was dragging myself on, the temporary energy from dinner and my long nap now coming to a close. It didn't help that it was pouring, either. The large, falling drops of rain soothed me, similar to a mother rocking her child to sleep.

I was freezing, the hair on my legs standing up like sharp needles. Almond was passed out next to me, restricting me from getting up and splashing my face with cold water. There was nothing I could do, and before I knew it, my vision started to fade and grow dark.

Tomura was warm, his heat intoxicating. Without realizing my actions, my hands slipped over his chest, my body weight finding its way on top of him. "(Y/N)? What do you think you're doing?" he mumbled, his fingers still tightly gripped onto the small controller.

He was speaking to me, but I had no energy or motivation to get up and respond. I couldn't even bring myself to open my eyes or move, but this was humiliating. The loose band which tied Tomura's hair came out, his blue waves of silk now coming free.

Slowly but surely, his body eased. My face was pressed against the metal zipper of his hoodie, my cheek nearing its way towards Tomura's rib. The television stayed on, the blue lights emitting from it shining onto us. His body relaxed, as he closed his eyes and rested his head against the mushed pillow.

Tomura grazed his fingers over my head, running them through my tangled mess of hair. I drifted off to sleep, but as I began to make my way towards a dream state, my ears picked up on a minor noise.

"Who knew?" he whispered, not aware that I heard.
