Chapter 17 A New Beginning

Laxus

Tsunade walked down the stairs yawning as Mamoru overjoyed jumped into her arms "good morning sleepy head" Kaito greeted chuckling "good morning Kai" Tsunade took her seat "I don't see why we had to move dad" Kurai spoke up "our old home was fine" Kurenai sighs rolling her eyes "Kurai your grandfather had wanted for us to come back to Magnolia" I said he opened his mouth to object before a box hit his face "shut up none of us wanted to move yet we're putting up with it aren't we?" Tsunade says "that's a first" Toma pointed out "did you get enough sleep last night?" gramps asks "not really" she yawned "you weren't up late reading again were you?" Juvia asks as Tsunade shook her head "no for once I was just looking for a place where gramps could open that dojo he always wanted too" she placed a spoonful of rice in her mouth "to be honest with you I was also doing the same" Miyuki confessed as Kyoko and Aqua also raised second her "so did you find anything?" I ask as they shared a look "you'll see dad it's a surprise" Emica says.

Makarov excitedly told me about a friend he made on his morning run "that's nice" Juvia smiled turning back to look at them "so dad you prepared for your first day at the new school as a principle?" Aqua asks noticing my silence "no" I replied "dad will do fine" Kyoko waved off "oh is the great Laxus Dreyar nervous?" Tsunade asks "please don't tease your father Tsuna" Juvia sweatdropped "oh that's not teasing" she looks at Juvia "trust me that's really not she can do way better" Makarov says as a memory flashed through my mind he's got that damn right I glanced in the rearview mirror to Tsunade who didn't seem to have that teasing smirk.

We all got out of the car staring up at the school "damn they went all out on the new school" Aqua says "they sure weren't lying when they said the academy was going to be big" a big sign with Fiore academy was written at the entrance gate "you know we look weird just standing here?" Tsunade points out "it's so big..." Kyoko says I felt gentle hands pushing me forward "get a move on Mr principle you have a darn speech to give" Tsunade pushed us all forward more specifically me.

I waited for all the students to arrive at the gym that's sure a lot of students... I stared at the doors a lot has happened the years following the near destruction of magic.

I'm not sure what happened to the demons who were apart of the war... I glanced at my wife who was busy conversing with Meredy but I still hold onto my memories from my previous birth like all my friends and family around me still holding onto their memories but I also can feel the emotions connected to those memories... "to think the principle would have some responsibility to get to know the staff" Evergreen stood in front of me with her hands to her hips Evergreen and Elfman got theirs way back on our transition day... Juvia tapped my shoulder "the assembly about to begin Laxus" she said however Tsunade is the one I'm concerned about she doesn't seem to hold any memories from her previous life Erza beckoned me to the mic as I walked over to her taking it out of her hands.

Tsunade raised a pale arm waving at me a smile curved my lips as she gave a thumbs up in encouragement "good morning I am Laxus Dreyar you're new principle" I looked around at all the students face before as I spoke my eyes eventually finding the soft doe-like sea-green eyes of my youngest daughter she might not admit it but I know it's starting to bother her however she's quite a joyful person despite people telling she's quite strange sometimes I hope that in the future Tsunade doesn't have to make such a big sacrifice like... someone placed a hand on my shoulder "Laxus" I looked up at Juvia who took the microphone from me.

Pale hands were placed behind her back as Tsunade stood in front of me "did you have one of those memories appear again dad?" Tsunade asks I nodded my head looking down at my watch "shouldn't you be getting to class?" I ask as if on queue one of her friends called her "well see ya dad" she turned her back to me "good luck on your first day" she raised a hand waving as she ran off towards her friends.

"I'm glad to see someone's excited" a voice from beside me said as I flinched "don't do that" I say to Minerva "I must get going now so should you Laxus" she ignored my comment walking she completely ignored me!.

Hikaru

The door to the classroom opens as I glanced at it before stopping mid-sentence my eyes widened turning my head to the female who had just entered.

The women's waist-long blue hair braided at the front then pulled into a low side ponytail while her bright sea-green eyes looked around the room as the teacher stood beside her.

My mouth opened in shock Tsunade... she smiled brightly as I felt my heart skip a beat "my names Tsunade Dreyar" a blush crept up onto my cheeks as I face-planted onto my desk hiding it there.

"hey you ok man?" Yuki asks looking back at me I gave him a thumbs up "excuse me?" I peeked up at the voice "what?" I ask turning my side to meet sea-green orbs "do you mind sharing your textbook Hikaru?" Tsunade asks when did she get here?! I flinched wait a minute she knows my name she moved her desk towards mines "Tsunade" I called she hummed turning to look at me "Hikaru stop talking back there" Ms Ultear says writing something on the board while Tsunade payed close attention writing down notes occasionally at the text book between us.

I grabbed Tsunades before she went off to her locker "did you need some help?" Tsunade asks turning around to look at me "hey Mitsuki I didn't know you were also attending this school!" Kageya slings an arm around her shoulder "Kageya they announce sabertooth high would be joining with others to form Fiore academy" she rolled her eyes trying to pry his hand off her shoulder "oh come on don't be like that" Tsunade puffed out her cheeks "and keep your hands to yourself" she turned away from him grabbing his hand Tsunade pulled Kageya over her shoulder causing him to hit the ground.

Everyone in a close perimeter of the two stepped back "well then good bye numbskull" Tsunade walks away from him "I'll take that a yes for our date later" Kageya wheezed out "in your dreams!" she scowled at him "oh right Kageya I forgot to inform you we'll be having a student council meeting" he blinked in confusion "ok" he shrugged "well get up your vice president you goof" instantly he stood up "that got him up" one of the new girls sweatdropped "she's probably the only person that can get him up."

I called after Tsunade who stops in her tracks turning around to face me "you remember me right?" I ask grabbing her hands "I don't think we've met before today Hikaru" Tsunade replies "come on stop joking around Tsunade" she sighs "Hikaru I don't have my memories if that is what you're referring to" she stares me in dead in the eye "I apologise if I may have hurt-" "wait then how did you know my name?!" I cut her off "ms Ultear told me" she replied "wha-?! then how did you know what I was talking about?!" I pointed at her frantically "well it doesn't take a genius to figure it out" she rolled her eyes adjusting her bag I totally got rejected I sulked "dad? were you waiting for me?" I looked up at the sound of a familiar gruff voice "let's hurry up before Kurai starts worrying." 

Tsunade is the principle daughter?! my eyes widened as I watched them walk away together.
