I was laying down in my bed, tired. After lots of school work plus practice which in my case is dance, everything else really just drains you out. With my eyes closed, humming the last song I heard, everything was peaceful and calm, until I heard a glass shatter and a girl scream, "I deserve to die!" from the apartment above mine. Like how everyone would react, I got concerned and worried for this lady. I mean, who won't after hearing what happened.

I stood up from the comfort of my bed, looking at the mirror and made some minor changes to how I looked before taking the elevator to the 2nd floor. I walked down the hall and knocked on her door, she opened up and I could clearly see the confusion in her face after seeing a handsome man in her front door ;)

I decided to take the first step and asked, "I heard some commotion up here, I came by to check if everything was alright?"

"I think you're ears are playing tricks on you," sweater zipped up to her chin, " thanks for caring, sir, that's nice of you but I have to go back in. Wish I could tell you about the noise but I didn't hear a thing," I raise my eyes in question, about to speak up to debunk her claim but she closed on the door on me, not before saying, "I'm truly sorry but I think that it must've been the wind.

That was last week, it's been approximately 7 days, 4 hours, 3 mins, and 47 seconds since we last talked. (I have a clock that tells me those things, don't worry about it) Her posts in Instagram were always so happy and lively, she always had a smile on her face but it seems like that wasn't the case. I wanted to help her, to ask her what's wrong, but after the first interaction, she made it clear that she didn't want to talk. I can't really go up and comfort her without much to say, but leaving her alone to deal with it herself is not an option.

I went to the elevator again, letting it take me to the 2nd floor, walking up and knocking on the door. She opened up, and when she finds me, she glares at me, her eyes raking up and down at me, (I have a feeling I died a little)

"Hey!" I said nervously, my hands rubbing the back of my neck and I start rocking on my heels out of habit, "I'm really sorry to ask again but-"

"I'll book you an appointment to the doctor if that's what you want."

I look at her weirdly, my brows furrowing slightly in confusion and my lips together in a pout, "Huh?"

"Huh?tdog." she said before taking her jacket from where it was wrapped around her waist, before zipping it up.

"Thanks for caring, I'm really flattered, like very. It's nice of you, but I have some things to do which requires me to go back in. I could tell you about the noise, but I heard nothing. As I told you a week ago, it must have been the wind or if you want, I'll book you an appointment to the doctor?" she looks at me seriously, trying to find an answer as I gape at her surprised.

I managed to shake  my head in response before she calls 911 on me, I said thank you at her and waved goodbye as I made my way back to my apartment slowly and hesitantly.

Laying down on the kitchen island with my cheek resting against the cold marble and taking my phone out to ask my (hopefully) saviors, trying to find a comfortable position before huffing in frustration and forcing myself to sit up instead,
