Chapter 3: Nini

It was just another day of school. Lisa was in her class. It was mathematics class. She loves studying. She always concentrate on what the teacher is saying but today she is distracted. It is because of that mysterious cat. Yesterday was so weird for her. Suddenly out of nowhere a cat comes to her window. She played with it. She fed her. And then that cat went back. She wonders if the cat will visit her again today.

Remembering the cat's features, her eyes searched for the girl she says 'she doesn't like'. Jennie was sitting a bit far away from her in the front seats. Lisa prefers to sit at the back alone. From her seat she can clearly see Jennie's face. The cat and Jennie had a lot of common features. Jennie has cat eyes which makes her look like a cat.

Looking at Jennie, Lisa got lost in her own thoughts.

The school hours ended, surprisingly Jennie did not bother her today. Jennie did not even looked at her at all. She should be happy right? This is what she wants! But why does she feels uneasy with it? Maybe it's because she yelled at Jennie in front of everyone. She feels guilty. That's what Lisa thinks to herself.

Lisa walks back to her apartment. On her way she saw a pet shop. Then she remembered the cat again. Will the cat visit her again today? She decided to buy a small size of cat food. If the cat does not visits her anymore, she can feed any of the stray cats.

Lisa reached home. She changed her clothes to something comfortable and had some snacks. She decided to do her homework first. While she was completing her homework, she heard quiet taps of the window again. She quickly looked at the window and saw the cat from yesterday.

She smiled widely and immediately opened her window to let her in. "You came back!" She laughed and took the cat in her arms.

"meow~~~" the cats replied.

"Are you hungry? I bought you some cat food! I hope you will like it!" Lisa put down the cat first and then searched for the cat food in her bag. Once she found it, she took it out and opened the packet. She put the food in front of the cat and Jennie immediately started to eat it.

Lisa smiled looking at it. "Should I name you? I can't call you just cat you know." Lisa bite her lips to think of a name.

Jennie raised her head and stared Lisa as if waiting for her to give her a name. Lisa looked back at the cat and stared at it's features.

"Nini....yes Nini will be the perfect name for you." Lisa said patting the cat.

Jennie was shocked! Was this just a coincidence or Lisa really gave the cat her nickname? Jennie's closed friends and family often call her Nini. No many people knows this but Jennie remember telling Lisa her nickname once or twice. Does Lisa remember her nickname? But why would she name the cat after her?

"You know you look like a person that I know. She is my classmate. I named you after her. Her name is Jennie" Lisa said with a small smile.

"meow~" Jennie's thoughts were right! Lisa really named it after her!

"But I don't like her. Maybe not really but I don't like how annoying she gets. I told her I don't want to be with her but she never gives up! I hate it!" Lisa said with a small huff.

Jennie immediately sat on Lisa's lap, interested in listening to her more. Lisa softly scratched her back, that's what cats like.

"I admit she is very beautiful girl...." Lisa paused. Hearing Lisa calling her beautiful, made Jennie go crazy. She meowed and licked Lisa's fingers out of happiness.

".....but I know how rich people are. Once they get what they want then they get bored and throw it away. That's what Jennie is going to do to me if I say yes to her. I'm just protecting my heart you know. I just don't wan- yeah!!! YEAH!!!" Lisa shouted when her Nini suddenly bit her finger and scratched her hand.

Jennie was so happy just now when she heard Lisa calling her beautiful but then after that it spoiled her mood. She is not like that! She does not see Lisa as a toy! She really loves her!!!

"meow!!!" Jennie scratched Lisa's hand with her tiny paws.

"Yeah! Did I hurt you??? I'm sorry okay?" She immediately held the cat's paws to stop it from attacking her.

"meow!!!" The cat hissed at her.

"Complete your food Nini!" Lisa calmly said trying to please the cat. Jennie glared at her for the last time before she started eating again.

"Nini, do you think I should give Jennie a chance??? I really treat her very badly. She seems very nice though. Everyone likes her a lot. What do you think Nini?" Lisa asked the cat.

"meow~" Jennie happily licked Lisa's fingers. 'Yes you should!' Jennie couldn't really believe that what she heard is real. Lisa really wants to give her a chance? She will not waste this opportunity at all costs!!!

"Is this your way of saying yes???" Lisa laughed softly. She picked up the cat and showered it with kisses.

Jennie internally squealed. She blushed as some of Lisa's kisses landed on her mouth. Will this be considered as their first kiss? She doesn't care about anything at this moment. It's just her and her love Lisa.

(A/N: what do you think? Is this their first kiss or not? Lol 😂)

A few hours passed by and now it's time for Jennie to return home. As must as she wants to spend her whole day and night with Lisa but she can't do that. What if her parents enter her room and can't find her? It will be huge problem.

Just like yesterday, Jennie jumped to through the window (Lisa planned to keep the window open everytime so whenever Nini wants can enter her room).

Jennie reached her home. She sat on the bed in her human form. Her hand unconsciously went to her lips. Her fingers traced her lips softly. She can still feel Lisa's soft lips on her mouth. But deep down she is not yet satisfied with that peck. She wants to kiss Lisa in her human form!

Then she remembered what Lisa said. If she talks to Lisa tomorrow will Lisa reply to her peacefully instead of yelling at her? Maybe? She can't wait for tomorrow to see the new Lisa!

She can't help but share her happiness! She took her phone and dialed her cousin's number.

"Hello Chu?" She squealed to the person.

"Hello Jendeuk? Woah you sound happy! Did Lisa talked to you?" Jisoo, her cousin laughed.

Jennie wanted to say 'yes she did and she even kissed me' but she stopped herself from doing it.

"Not really but I bet she will tomorrow!"

"Ohh yeah? What's with this sudden change of heart of hers?" Jisoo asked.

"I don't know! But she will! You will see it tomorrow! Wait for it!" Jennie smiled thinking about what is going to happen tomorrow.

I completed my accountancy project in just 3 days!!! Now I have business studies project due in 3 days 😭😭😭 what am I gonna do? Lol.

Anyways, This story will be short. Maybe less than 15 chapters or maybe 10 chapters. Hopefully you all liking it till now!
