vinnie knocks on the door
"come in , it's unlocked" i shout from the living room.
"hey , you alright y/n"
"yeah i'm good, you?"
"i'm fine"
"ok , let's get started"
"uh, do you want anything to eat or drink ?"
"yeah , could i get a water please"
y/n goes to the kitchen to get water and hands it to vinnie
"thanks"
time skip you guys had fun and laughed and had finished the assignment vinnie is about to leave because it's getting late (it's about 11pm)
"uh yeah i'm gonna go now"
"do you want me to walk you out"
"yeah if you don't mind"
"uh y/n" vinnie's eyes twinkled as they stared into mine.
"yes?" i stared back
"would you like to go out with me sometime just so i could get to know you better?"
i stood there speechless
he leaned in and kissed me.
i pulled away.
it felt good but i can't . not with vinnie.
"what's wrong"he asked
"uh vin i like you i really do but ... i just can't , i don't want to get hurt . i'm scared of getting hurt if i get into a relationship with you.
"it's okay" vinnie sighed
"look y/n i would never hurt you , but it's okay if you feel that way , i completely understand and respect your feelings. i hope i didn't ruin our friendship"
