Irene

We sat on the bench for what seemed like forever. Her hug really helped me calm down and I felt safe. I was glad that I told her everything. 

I felt like a weight was lifted off of my chest, but I also felt worried to go up against the Black Cross again. I kept thinking about that dream. The dream where I had to choose between Seulgi and Taeyeon. Seulgi broke the silence.

"Baechu?"

"Hmmm?" She looks towards me with a serious expression. I stare into her hazel eyes and can't stop looking at her.

"We don't have to fight them you know? It's your call, I know that you have had a hard time because of them. We could pass this on to another team." I looked up towards her and shook my head no.

"Even if they made me suffer, I still want to make them feel the pain that felt when I lost Taeyeon. I want revenge." My eyes were full of anger and then I heard Seulgi chuckle.

"What's so funny?"

"You're still cute when you are mad Baechu. Joking aside, I will stay with you no matter what." I looked at her and couldn't help but to give her a kiss. We both share the kiss and it felt like my heart was going to explode. I pull away first and pull out my phone. 

Lisa?

Yes?

We accept the mission.

After accepting I turned to Seulgi. 

"Let's give them what they deserve." I looked at Seulgi a little shocked for saying that. She had no reason to hate them. I looked at her and nodded. Me and Seulgi went back to the office before ending the night. 

I wanted to show her the letter that Taeyeon gave to me. I thought she might be curious about it and since we are partners, we shouldn't keep anything from each other. 

I walked into the office and grabbed the letter. I ran back out and saw Seulgi sitting on a bench waiting for me outside of the building. 

"Hey Seulbear!" She looked up at me and smiled

"Hey Baechu! Did you get what you needed?" I nodded and handed the letter to her. She looked at me confused and then I think she recognized the letter.

"Are you sure? Isn't this letter important to you?" 

"You're my partner. I'm not going to keep secrets from you anymore." She looks at me with her eye smile and then pulls me into a hug. I hug her back smiling. 

"But if you lose it, I will kill you." I felt Seulgi's body stiffen after I said that and just chuckled. Who knew she would still be afraid of me.

I guess my coldness hasn't lost it's affect on anyone. I pull away from the hug and look towards Seulgi. She was staring at the envelope with the letter. I could tell that she was lost in her thoughts.

"Hey, you know you can open it and read it right?" I asked while smiling. She looked up at me and nodded. Tomorrow was going to be the day where I face the Black Cross once again. 

Seulgi

I drop Irene off at her home and then drive to mine. I got inside my house, went into my room, and sat down on my bed. I looked at the letter that Irene wanted me to read. 

I open the letter and slowly started to read. I chuckled at some parts of the letter. When I finished the letter, I couldn't help but cry. 

I cried because Irene lost someone who was really important to her and because I could tell that Taeyeon was an amazing partner. Why did such an amazing person have to die and cause pain for her partner? I pulled out my phone and called Irene
