Irene

I slowly open my eyes and see a white room. I look to my side and see a worried bear sitting on a chair.

"Seulgi?" She looked up and ran towards me.

"Irene? Thank god your okay!" She hugged me and I hugged her back. I stopped when I remembered what happened.

"Taeyeon, where is she? Is she okay?" I looked at her with a serious expression and she nodded. I sighed with relief.

"Irene, do you remember what happened?" I look at her and nod.

"I remember meeting the people. I remember seeing Taeyeon. I remember Park Bogum. I also remember Taeyeon beating me." I stopped after saying that and started to cry. I felt Seulgi grab my hand.

"I deserved it! They were right! I should have never left her! Maybe she wouldn't be hating me right now!" I started to cry even harder. Seulgi pulled me into a hug and I started to calm down.

"Irene it wasn't your fault. You didn't deserve that. You have been through enough. It was Park Bogum's fault. Taeyeon isn't really mad at you. At least not the real one." I looked up at her with a confused look.

"What do you mean by not the real one."

"She isn't the Taeyeon you used to know Irene. She doesn't remember anything good about you. Park Bogum brainwashed Taeyeon into hating you. She would never hate you for leaving her. She wanted you to leave and live. It was Park Bogum who made her like this." I stopped crying and looked at Seulgi.

"Can I see her now?" I look up at her and I see her sigh. 

"You can see her when you get discharged. The staff her won't let me take you out of here yet. You still need to rest." I nod at her answer and notice how tired I really am. I look towards Seulgi.

"Seulgi, can you come here?" She nods and sits on the bed with me.

"I'm sorry for that letter Seulgi. I know you were just paranoid and I could see why. Thank you for still coming for me. I don't think we would have made it out of there if it wasn't for you, Joy, and Wendy. Thank you for not hurting Taeyeon as well. You really are an amazing partner. Will you still be my partner?" I look at her and I see her smile. 

She leans in and kisses me. I really missed her kisses. I missed her smile. I missed everything about her. Feeling her kiss again brought me happiness. I really do have the best partner in the world. I pull away first.

"I really love you Seulgi."

"I love you too Joohyun." I yawn and look at Seulgi. She pats my head and forces me to lay down on the bed. She adjusts the blankets and gives me a kiss on my forehead.

"Sleep. I'll be right next to you Baechu." After I heard that, I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep. 

A couple of days later

I was finally able to leave the hospital for the fourth time. Me and Seulgi walked out of the hospital building hand in hand.

"Seulgi?"

"Hmm?" 

"Can I see Taeyeon now?" I felt her hand immediately tense up. She looked at me with worried eyes.

"Do you really want to?" I nodded a yes. She sighed and then nodded. We both got into her car and drove off to the police department. I got in and saw all of my friends. They all ran up to me and hugged me thanking me for the note. 

I finally smiled knowing that I have such great people around me. I looked at Lisa and ran up to give her a hug. 

"Whoa there Irene!" She said laughing. I just laughed back at her. She then pulled away from the hug.
