For the next few days I made sure that Fred and George helped Ron and his friends out whenever he needed it. Most of the time it would be for help on how to find a classroom or more so with Hermione it was how to perfect a spell that was way beyond her expected level. When I would try to explain to her that she shouldn't be learning it yet she would nod and look sad meaning I'd teach her something else instead that isn't so challenging.

"How are you finding things here Hermione?"

"Good. I miss my mum and dad but they're intrigued about where this can take me. Obviously they had no idea until I got my letter that wizards and witches even exist. What about you? Are your parents muggles?"

"No. I'm actually from a family that has only wizards and witches from where we can trace back to. So both my parents are, both of their parents are and both of their parents are. So what we can trace back to, we are all magical from my great grandparents until now. We unfortunately don't have that much family history and after my great grandparents it becomes a bit foggy"

"Wow. Did they ever do anything note worthy?"

"Not really. My great grandpa apparently worked in the ministry and did quite a bit but I've never actually looked into it"

"So you're a pure blood then?"

"I don't like that term. I think if you're a wizard or witch, you are one, no matter where you come from. But I suppose some people would say so yes"

"I've heard some people in my year talk about how muggle borns aren't worthy of being here"

"Don't listen to them. If you're capable of doing magic why shouldn't you be given the same chances. I actually find muggle life fascinating"

"Really? Why?"

"Not sure. It's very different. You know Ron's older brother George? He is obsessed with a comic from the muggle world"

"What one?"

"I wish I could tell you" I smiled "do you want me to do your hair?" I asked as I noticed she was struggling to keep it behind her shoulders.

"Would you?"

"Sure, I enjoy doing hair"

"Thank you" she smiled and sat in front of me.

Later that day I was in transfiguration class with Cedric. He was telling me about his summer as professor Mcgonagall waltzed into the room.

"Good morning everyone. Open your books"

The class went relatively smoothly apart from one students severely messing up causing professor Mcgonagall to fix it with a sigh. Like always me and Cedric would help each other when we needed it, sometimes it would be just a slight change in wrist movement and other times one of us would be getting it completely wrong.

"Very nice" professor Mcgonagall nodded when she saw us do the spell correctly "10 points to each house".

My favourite class is potions. I find it fascinating. Fred doesn't like it that much but enjoys it because we have it together. I'm the same when it comes to charms class, I don't enjoy the subject but I like spending time with Fred and watching him excel in something other than getting himself into trouble. I have most classes with Fred but potions and charms are the only classes the professors allow us to sit together because they know we do well in those subjects. Instead of being distracted by each other, one of us is always fully engaged with the topic.

I looked at Fred after professor Mcgonagall gave me and Cedric house points and he blew a kiss with a wink. He had a smirk plastered on his face and I knew he was proud of me.
