It was pretty obvious from the start that Seabrook didn't win the cheer championship. They had broken several rules, first and foremost having zombies on stage, the loophole that allowed them to attend did not extend to performing. However, For the first time ever they did bring everyone together, the Zombies threw, and awesome block party. Addison even bought Zoey a puppy which she appropriately named Puppy.

Casey rushed ahead of her parents; they had walked to the border it was a nice day. She was in a red punk outfit, and her hair was out and wild she looked more comfortable than she had in years, something her father didn't understand with the five-inch heeled platforms she was wearing. "Zombie Town is beautiful, it so colorful!" Casey knew the area was run down and in serious need of improvements, but she thought that was more than possible with time, so she would focus on the good.

"I'm sure, but slow down sweetie," her mother laughed.

If Lydia has no impulse control, Michael had even less, "I'll race you," he smirked.

Casey grinned, "You're an old man."

"Old man?" He gasped, "I'm gonna crush you little girl."

She mimicked his gasp, "Little girl?"

Lydia grasped both their wrists, "if you're going to race, do it fairly," she made them both line up and started them off. "First one to touch the barrier wins. Ready, set, go!"

Eliza was standing by the barrier with her mother, she couldn't wait to introduce her to Casey, but very nervous, if she had been discriminatory her mother had made her that way. She squinted, seeing three figures running towards the barrier after the initial wave of humans entered. Her eyes widened as she quickly realized it was her girlfriend and her parents. She didn't have time to brace herself before Casey barreled into her. They both tumbled to the ground Casey laughing the whole way and Eliza grabbing her waist trying to make sure she didn't bang her head. "Eliza!"

Michael looked at his daughter and Eliza on the ground, "I win, hi Eliza."

"Hi Mr. Blane."

"Na-uh!" Casey whined, "I got through the barrier first."

"We said the first one to touch the barrier," he stuck his tongue out and Casey groaned.

Eliza looked up at her confused mother, "Oh mom this is my mom Zahara."

Lydia holds out her hand, "Nice to meet you Zahara I'm Lydia, this is my husband, Michael."

She looked at the woman's hand then slowly took it, which Eliza saw as progress. Her mother's discrimination was from trauma so, she saw it as something that could be fixed, associating humans with good memories as opposed to bad ones and Casey family was the perfect humans to do that with. "Nice to meet you."

Casey stood up helping Eliza with her, "Hello Ms. Zambi. I'm Casey Blane."

"My girlfriend," Eliza said proudly, taking Casey's hand as if daring her to say anything about her.

Zahara glanced at Casey's hair, and her parents, she could tell Casey wasn't blood related to her parents and she had her theories about what she was but decided to keep her mouth shut, something told her, none of them knew. "Nice to meet you, Casey."

There was an awkward silence for a while before Lydia started up a conversation allowing Eliza and Casey the chance to escape, "She'll warm up to you," Eliza insisted, "Hopefully," She mumbled to herself.

Casey kissed her forehead, "everything takes time, everything'll be okay."

They saw Bonzo set up a speaker, both smiled and made their way towards the town square.
