Alright, I know, it's a weird thing, but Joe's passion for The last of us inspired me, so here it goes :D

Skye's POV:

I felt a terrible pain in my stomach. Hunger. I tried not to think about it and pushed myself to keep on walking. My feet hurt, but I had to find a place to stay for tonight so I had to make my way to London at least. It was september if I had been counting the days right, so it started to get colder. The nights weren't warm enough to stay outside, let alone safe. The runners were everywhere, searching for a nice dinner. I wasn't keen on to be that dinner.

I was very close to the city, but I had to stay away from the bigger streets because they were to dangerous, to much space to get attacked. I had to sneak in, find a little shop or sth to get food and then search a place to stay. Tomorrow I could explore a little, but at the moment  I just needed to rest.

It took me about thirty minutes to get to London, another fifteen to find away around the big streets. I avoided everything to do with the Tube, it was most likeley that the clickers had invaded it. I made it through the city until Covent Garden where I broke into a abandoned Pizzashop. I could find canned tomatoes and and a two bottles of water. I picked them up and packed them into my rucksack, then I left.

London had turned into a ghost city, like all the others, too. I was from Brighton where the virus had spread out everywhere because of the seawind. Nearly everyone had turned, including everyone I loved. I could escape before the city was evacuated and the last few survivors were executed in case of infection. Everyone avoided Brighton or people from there because the risk of getting infected was terribly high. I ran away and then tried to find someone to catch up with, but no one wanted me. At least one guy gave me the tip to try the London-Zone, short LZ, they would take everyone, but it seemed as the city was dead. No one was alive here so there was no chance of finding shelter, but to be honest: I didn't expect different.

I sneaked through downtown without getting noticed by the runners that tumbled over the dusty asphalt. I wandered around to look for some place to stay, but all the houses were either destroyed or seemed full off spores that carried the virus. It wasn't until I reached Chelsea were the houses seemed to be okay, just that the number of runners on the street had increased. Perhaps because there were more apartments in this area, so more people were living here. Or well, not anymore.

I was just about to break the lock on one of the doors to get in, as one of the runners noticed me. I jumped on my feet and sprinted away as more infected catched attention and followed. Holy shit, they were faster here in London! I ran up the road, searching an escape, but there was none!!

I could here the infected scream behind me, they were definitley coming closer! "Shit!", I jumped over a metal fence and up the stairs to a house. I wouldn't matter if I kept on running, they would get me, so I had to escape otherwise!

"Please be open!", I coughed and cryed "Yes!" as the door opened.

I quickly pressed through the entrance and closed right before the runners could get me. But the problem wasn't solved yet! They bumped into the door, again and again so they would break the lock soon! The door was massive enough, but I had to keep it closed! I looked around and grabbed a little metal shelf. I pushed it under the door handle so it couldn't open.

I let out a sigh of relief when I realized that I was safe now. I noticed my surroundings just now. A staircase led up to the next floor, I took it in hopes that I could find something useful. I climbed the stairs and stopped in front of a door.

"Please don't let clickers be in there.", I prayed before I pushed it open.

No clicker, but probably worse. A gun pointed at my head as soon as I wanted to enter. Great, after all that drama now a HUMAN would kill me? Seriuosly, that wasn't fair. It took me a second to realize that I knew the face that belonged to the hand holding the gun.

I gasped, "Joe?"
