Friendship - Chapter 3

One week later,

Mishti had taken a leave as she had some work at her home. I(Abir) was also working from home as Maa and Nanko(Kunal my bro) had told me to stay at home as we have to go somewhere today. I was working on my laptop and eyes got on the earing of Mishti , I had and I tooked it in my hand and adored it! Don't know why but I was missing her... We(Abir & Mishti) had become good friends till now. I knew that I love her but I don't wanted to break the friendship and first confirm it myself that if it is really love or just attractions. All my thoughts were stopped by the sudden coming of Nanko!

Nanko came and told me, Bhai do you know why I and Maa requested you to stay home today! I said, By the way it was not a request but a order by maa... Nanko then spoked in stern voice, Bhai!! Please be serious for sometime, these one is quite important! I nodded him positively. So Nanko began telling me that how he met a girl on Maa's saying a week ago in cafe and how he fell in love with her and the girl too liked him and today we are going to the girl's house for meeting her family and talking about their marriage! By the Nanko was blushing a lot telling these things! I then asked Nanko What's the name of the lucky girl? He said while blushing Kuhu!! I nodded to him.

Then I asked him more about Kuhu as I had a doubt as if she is the sister of Mishti! And Nanko's description about Kuhu cleared my doubt. Yes she was Mishti's sister. I was thanking God for these grace of his. Nanko shooked me up said Get Ready! We need to go at 11:30 am and please pick up some gifts and come there directly. I said Ok!! to him.

11:30 am at Maheshwari's house

We all reached there and I was excited to meet Mishti as from morning I wanted to see her! We all entered their house and were welcomed by Bade Papa. Bade Papa got us all introduced. Then my Maa told them that children's like eachother so if you don't mind we can take the relationship forward. Bade Papa nodded. And then Nanu asked Where is Kuhu? I wanted to meet her! They said she is coming and there came Kuhu along with Mishti. I was smiling seeing Mishti. And Mishti also noticed me and gave me a smile.

All elders were engrossed in their talks about Gordhana of Kuku. I saw my brother my Nanko smiling continuosly seeing at kuhu. I felt very happy as he had found his love at last and was happy. Then Bade Papa introduced us all to Mishti! And when Bade Papa was telling Mishti about me she said quikly, I know Abir! There was a silence in the hall and all eyes were on Mishti and me. Then I quickly said, We work together! Mishti works as manager at my NGO Maa... And Badi Maa suddenly said Oh so these is your boss Abir! Mishti praises you a lot Abir, I must say. I smiled at Mishti and she smiled back.

The elders again got engrossed in the Gordhana date discussion. So I went near Mishti and told her We are now relatives too! Mishti quickly said, But Friends first! I nodded to her with a smile. So the Gordhana of Kuku was decided after two days. All were very happy especially Kuhu and Kunal. The day passed smoothly.

The Next Day,

We had to do a lot of preparation for Gordhana and time was also less, but we knew we would do it together.
I went late to NGO office that day .

11:00 am

I reached NGO and found Mishti holding a bunch of files and walking , it looked like the files are surely going to fall , I saw Mishti falling with the files so I quickly ran and holded her in my arms , we had an eyelock. It was just like a magical moment...

I hope these moment have been stopped there only! Suddenly we both came back to our senses and Mishti got up! I asked her, Are you ok? She nodded positively. Then she suddenly fired some questions to me, Abir! Where were you from the morning? I had messaged you but no answer! I also called but no answer! I was so tensed do you know! I stopped her keeping my finger on her lips. I said then, Mam!! Sorry!!Please let me explain you! But before it you cool down You Angry girl! Mishti smiled and said You are very Ajeeb , keep these jokes aside for sometime! And tell me? I said her then how I was busy in preparation of the Gordhana of Kuku. Mishti listened to me carefully and nodded. She said, But you should answer calls and check messages do you know there is a big problem occurred and I am very tensed!

I asked her to sit and breath and then tell the problem. She sat on the chair and I sat on the chair opposite to her!
Mishti then said, Do you know? there is big problem occurred Yaar! As you there is Gordhana of Kuhu on 5th. I said , Yes! So? She spoke then, So on 5th we have to visit Champaner and complete the Champaner school project as we have to open the school for the tribal people from 11th! Then I was a bit shocked and after thinking for sometime I told Mishti, Can't we go on 4th and check , and we will visit there again at 6th so no worries! Ok! Mishti was a bit pleased but again there was some displeasure on her face, she said I fear if anything happens then , you know about the funds right we have used a lot of funds on these project and if any problem happens on 5th then...
I said her, Don't worry! Everything will be fine..

All that day Mishti was thinking about these only and I was also a bit tensed as our presence was important on 5th as we had to take care of all things were good or not!

The day passed like that....
At night I messaged Mishti that Be Ready at 6am I will come to pick you up we will go Champaner and check all things and will be back by the evening..
There was reply by Mishti Ok!
I messaged her, Good Night!
She messaged me back Good Night. Sweet dreams.

Important Thing!!!
See guys Abir and Mishti's families are not much rich like in the serial , they are but not that much. I forget to mention it earlier but want to tell you all now. The Maheshwari's run a carpet business in Gujarat. The Rajvansh's run a tour's and travel business. They are like upper middle class families.

Next day...

I drived to Mishti's house and found her waiting for me at the house gate.
She got inside the car as I stopped near her! She sat and told me Very Good Morning Mr.Ajeeb . I smiled at her and said Very Good Morning to you too Miss Angry. We both laughed and then I droved the car and we were talking along the ride.
( I must say we had became very good friends.)

12:00 pm

We reached the destination Champaner...
We were very much tired after a long journey but we need to complete the work and reach home back by the evening! So we had lunch on the nearby dhaba and started working. The work was not that much completed we noticed that and the lady who took care of work about it, she told us, That there is a Goon who doesn't want the tribal people to get educated as he use them in his bad works. So he keeps destroying our things and the school area , building. That's why so much funds have also been got used here. We(Mishti & Abir) understood the problem. We started working with all of them in the school work and too our surprise with all our efforts the school got ready by 5 pm. All work was done so I and Mishti were very happy! But Mishti's happiness faded in few minutes and she was looking a bit tensed, I asked her What happened to your happiness now? She looked at me and answered Abir, I am a bit scared we are not going to here tomorrow if anything happens then we don't have more funds now too! I said her to not take much tension and that I have talked to police officer of Champaner and they have assured me that they will arrest that Goon by tomorrow itself! So don't worry now. Ok! And now please smile!! Mishti gave me a smile and we completed all the rest work and got back to our car and drived towards our home Rajkot.

We reached home very late at 12 am in the night and dropped Mishti and got to my home and slept as tomorrow was a big day for both the families.

Precap : Kuhu and Kunal's Gordhana gets done beautifully. Abir is hugging Mishti as she is crying.
