The weather had become worse. The winds were now making the windows shake, and the snowstorm was so intense that anyone could even see something through it. The school's heaters were on, but the freezing temperature would always find a gap and make the students and teachers put their coats again.
The class 1-B was in free time now. Some of the students were walking around the school, others were still in the classroom doing anything they wanted, but the half-dragon girl had other plans. She told her friends she had to do something, a research, at the library, so she ran towards there.
Thyri was passing through the students on the corridors, running down the stairs to have more time for her research. But she was so concentrated in her thoughts, that she stopped looking where she was going, causing her to bump into someone on the way. —Oh my, I'm so sorry! Thyri looked at the person in front of her. She had gray eyes, they were so gray that they appeared to be white like the snow outside. Her dark skin would shine because of the lights in the ceiling, her hair was really short, she had a claw scar on her right cheek, cat ears, sharp nails and fangs, and a silver piercing in her bottom lip. Thyri's cheeks became red. Ciel laughed a little bit and turned around, making her way upstairs. The brown-and-blond-haired girl smiled. After almost five minutes standing in the same place, she remembered what she had planned to do before bumping into Ciel and head towards the school's library.
the large place was built in light wood, with several bookshelves divided by genres and alphabetical order. Some of the shelves had worn out drownings of flowers and vines with thorns in silver and what looked like copper or bronze. The ceiling had drawings of clouds and a beautiful sky behind it, painted with pastel colors. There were large dark wood tables with six chairs each, lined the main part of the library. The librarian, Miss Gothel, the Gorgon, sat in peace behind her desk, reading her book, as there was no one there to disturb her.
—I don't think I'll find something in a school's library, but is good to try — She said running her fingers on the shelves. Practically all the books were old, there weren't many that looked new, and Thyri took some books that seemed that was going to help her.
The half-dragon girl walked through the big bookshelves watching the old and not exchanged lights, fail, blinking as if they would break and scare her at any moment. Thyri stopped, looking at the end of the room, she saw victorian-style sofas, in a dark red tone with dark wood parts and silver details. She walked towards there, sitting on one of the sofas, putting the books on her side, and began to read them.
