—BUT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
— Someone's voice spread around the place —

The group almost jumped in surprise, the voice was too loud, like someone was in a middle of an argument. They hide behind the big bookshelves that were still on the ground, and not floating. Thyri made signs with his hands to Odara who was in front of her, saying that he would check what was the source of the strange loud voice.

Odara signs with her hands too, trying to stop Thyri from doing something stupid. But the half-dragon was already moving forward. The shape-shifter took a deep breath, trying to not lose her patience, and followed Thyri.
—This isn't a good idea — Odara whispered —We don't even know who's there
—That's why we're going to figure it out — Thyri replied
—You're so reckless sometimes, I'm serious, and if what we found there turns out to be dangerous, huh?
—Then we run.
—And if it's faster than us?
—Jeez, we're gonna be just fine, you don't need to worry
—I bet we'll get in trouble
—If we get into trouble, you can make me do whatever you want, I'll own you. Deal?
Odara rolled her eyes
—Deal. I'm gonna kick your ass if we die here.

They stopped behind the bookshelves, one in each, looking through the shelves to the library's center, where the bookshelves would be circling a big space, the dark wood floor had symbols, all the phases of the moon drawn in silver, and in the center, a small pedestal made of gold, holding a purple and blue crystal ball.

There was a woman in front of the crystal ball. Odara and Thyri made sure that she couldn't see them. She had short wavy purple hair, a halo of stars around her head, and wore a black and blue suit, with a black high-heeled boot.

—But you don't understand! You NEED to send holy knights! — The woman said
—Her voice seems...familiar? — Odara whispered
—No, I think YOU are the one who doesn't understand! — Another voice, coming from the crystal ball, echoed —You have to be more respectful to me Lady Dallan

Thyri and Odara looked at each other
—Dallan? Like, Aldar Dallan? —Odara said —Isn't that...
—Principal Dallan?! —Thyri said, a little loud, causing the woman to turn towards them. The two leaned back against the shelves again, hoping Dallan hadn't seen them.
Odara looked between the books and saw the woman looking back at the crystal ball.
—I'm sorry —Thyri whispered —You think that's really our principal?
—Actually, now I'm sure — Odara said looking at her friend —I saw her face
—So it was principal Dallan, the person that Louie said that saw near the fireplace at the library.
—What is she doing here? And who is she talking to?

—I'm sorry sir, but the situation is critical! — Lady Dallan said
—And you think the situation here isn't? We're all in the same boat! — The voice in the crystal ball seemed pissed —I can't send the knights to ΉIЯΛKI, I won't do it.
—B-But sir! My students are all freezing, the windows of the classrooms are breaking and everyone needed to be "evacuated" to the auditorium. I can't even imagine what is happening to the rest of the city!
—Get your teachers to do something about the monster, they were once knights, just like you were.
—Sir...this isn't like any other threat that we've faced before, It's too powerful! And this was the first monster to appear, if the knights bring it down, maybe this would stop the others through the country! They can-
—Give up Dallan — The voice said —The knights aren't going to ΉIЯΛKI, this conversation is over.

The crystal ball went white. The communication had been disconnected.
—N-NO! — Dallan screamed to the ball and fall to her knees —We can't defeat that creature...
A song started playing, Dallan took her hand to the pocket of her jacket and took out a cell phone.
—What is it?
—Dallan! You need to come back! —A voice in the other line screamed in the principal's ears
—Calm down Sonya, what happened?
—The library and the south side of the building are completely covered by the snow, and we don't have the main entrance anymore! We can't evacuate the students anywhere now!
—There's another way for me to get to the school. I'm coming back through my office on the north side, and I'll help you and the other teachers with the snow problem. —Dallan said getting up —Are the students still inside the auditorium?
—Yes they are, but, can't we evacuate them through the passage?
—No, they can't know about the school's secrets, they would want answers. I'll be right back, wait for me.
