Isabel and I spent the night in each other's arms. She could barely sleep and I can't blame her. Losing her children must've been hard. She loved those kids more than herself.
"Isabel." I whispered as I noticed the sunlight shining through the curtains.
My luscious lesbian lady lover groaned.
"Darling, it's time to get up." I said in a louder voice. Isabel looked at me.
"No. Not getting up."
"The children-"
"The children don't care about you so therefore you shouldn't care about them."
She spoke logic. I could not argue.
I snuggled back down into the covers and held her. "My darling Isabel-"
"Shh! No talking."
