Chapter 3: Cardcaptors and Pokémon Meet!

"Where are we?" Madison said. "Kero? Li? Meilin?" Sakura said. "Over here!" Kero said. "Ow.." Li groaned. "What happened?" Meilin said. They all got up slowly and looked around. "Where are we?" Sakura asked. "Well wherever we are, I don't think we're in Readington." Madison said. "What makes you say that?" Meilin asked. "Well for staters, look around. Those animals don't look normal." Madison replied. "Now that you mention it, those rats are purple, and those birds look strange!" Sakura realized.

 Just then, a group of people came running towards them. "Guys, let's get outta here!" Kero shouted. They all ran into the trees, just as Ash and his friends arrived on the scene. "Did you see those people that just ran into the forest?" Brock asked. "Yeah, I wonder what they were doing here." Iris said. Ash used his aura to find them. He saw that they were hiding in the bushes watching the. Then he said, "Well whoever they were, I hope they're ok." "I wonder if they're the things that fell out of that hole in the sky." Clemont said. "Well anyways, whoever they were, they're gone so let's go back." Ash said. The group walked back to the park benches, while Ash stayed behind.

"You can come out now." he said. When nothing happened, he said, "I know you're still there." After a while, Sakura and her friends came out of the bushes, Kero hiding in a small space in Sakura's costume. "How'd you know we were still there?" Li asked. "Well umm I just did?" Ash said, not wanting to reveal his secret of aura. "Can you tell us where we are?" Sakura asked. "Well, your in the forest by Vermilion City. By the way, why are you dressed like that?" Ash replied. The group looked at there clothes, except for Madison since she doesn't have a battle costume, realizing that they were still in their battle costumes.

"We were doing a photo shoot but then we got lost." Madison said holding up her camera. "So who are you?" Meilin asked. "And what is that thing on your shoulder? It looks like the stuffed animal." Just then, Kero bursted out of his hiding place in Sakura's costume. "Hey, what did you say little girl?!" Kero said. "Don't call me that, you stuffed animal!" Meilin yelled. "I am not a stuffed animal! I am Kero Baros guardian beast of the seal! I was apointed by Clow Read himself!" Kero yelled. "A lotta good that did!" Meilin said. "Grr!" Kero bit Meilin's finger. "Ow! Get off stuffed animal!" Meilin yelled. Meilin shook Kero off. "Guys stop fighting." Sakura said.

Li and Madison sighed while Sakura tried to break up the fight. Ash looked confused at the scene that was happening before him. "Wow is that a new kind of Pokémon?" Ash asked. At that, everyone stopped and looked at him. "A what?" Li asked. "A Pokémon. Dont tell me you don't know what they are?!" Ash replied.
