I bet you're wondering what happened to everyone, right? Well, I'll tell you.
I have no idea what happened to Cece. No one ever saw her again. I just hope she got what she wanted, what ever that may have been.
Violet became an artist. She was a good painter, and so she started to do it professionally. People in here would pay ridiculous amounts for colourful decoration in their home, so she became extremely successful. She moved out years ago. She and her dog spend most of their time in their house, but she comes over from time to time. She even gave me one of her paintings to put in my bedroom. I'm not one for art, but it certainly brightens up the place.
Casper ended up with all he could ever have dreamed of. He helped to build the first theatre since the outbreak, and he's the most successful actor in here. They're yet to put on a show that he hasn't starred in. It's the life he always wanted. I've seen all of his shows. He really is incredibly talented.
As for Logan, he started a career in directing. Specifically, directing horror movies. He decided to use all of the horrors he'd experienced to create realistic, incredibly emotional horrors, that scared people shitless but also pulled at the heartstrings at the same time. In all the years he's been directing, I think there's only one story he hasn't told. His own. I guess he left that to me.
Logan and Casper are still together, by the way. They got married about twenty years ago. They even started a family.
They named their eldest son Elijah. Well, Casper did. Logan let him choose. He's sixteen now, and he's incredible at sports, just like his uncle was. I sometimes think he should have been given my name.
Then, there was their daughter, who's fourteen. They named her Audrey, because she was born a week after Audrey went missing. They never found her, but she did have kittens before she left. There were five of them, named after the characters in one of Casper's favourite Disney movies, the aristocats. Anyway, back to Audrey. She got her father's voice, and she can sing like an angel from heaven.
And then there's their third son. He's thirteen and he's a writer, although he doesn't think he's that good. He was named by Logan. There was a lot of debate about his name, but in the end, Logan was always going to win. So, yeah. That's me. I'm Quill.
I remember the first time my father told us all about what happened, how we ended up living inside these walls. I remember looking at him, completely awestruck, asking if it's true. My dad walked over and wrapped his arm around me.
"Oh, it's true alright. Every word of it. Although there's a couple of parts I'd prefer him to leave out."
Then he walked up to my father and kissed him gently before leaving for a rehearsal.
That day, I asked my father why he never made his story into a movie. He shrugged, saying maybe it was too personal, but he'd love to be able to share it. So, that day, I promised him that if he couldn't, I would be the one to tell his story. And, finally, I have. So yeah. Logan, if you're reading this, this one's for you. I hope I did you and dad proud.
