He had a crush on none other than Chara.
And of COURSE he didn't know what to do....

Sans POV) After an hour, they finally stopped arguing. And Chara said she had an announcement. Oh crud. Please don't be like my dream..... "....I'm leaving the underground. For good." My heart shattered into a million pieces. Leaving? How can I tell her I love her when shes leaving?? Well, I have to think of a way fast. "Sans? You ok?" Chara said. "Huh? Y-yeah I'm ok"I lied. I then teleported to Grillbys and asked him to get me a bottle of their finest Ketchup. "Okey dokey Sans." Grillby said while walking off to the back. (Time skip to one hour later)
Chara POV)
"Gosh dang it where is Sans...." I said as I was walking in Snowdin town. I figured he'd be at Grillbys, so I started there. And sure enough the pun-loving skeleton was at the bar drinking Ketchup.
Out of all things why ketchup.
I went to tap him on the shoulder and he jumped, kinda surprised. "C-chara! I didn't know you were here!"Sans said nervously. "Of course you didn't I just walked in." I said in reply. He was blushing a icy blue(yes his blush is blue search up sans fanart) And was sweating. "Sans, what's wrong?" I eventually broke the silence between us.
"Well I just have a lot on my mind..." The skeleton then said. "Tell me. It's ok. I won't judge." He then took a deep breath and looked me in the eyes.
"Chara, I am in love with you."
I was in utter shock. SANS?! IN LOVE WITH ME?! OH DEAR..........

(HA! BETTER QUALITY THIS TIME!(≧▽≦)) And suddenly, she started off like "Huh? What? How? Where? Wattpad?" Heh. She's acting like me! I grasped her hands and looked her in the eyes. "Please. Don't leave the underground. Stay with me and Frisk." She was still looking at me in utter shock, and eventually teared up. ".....Sans......I......" "*Crying*" Chara then pushed me away and ran off. "Chara!" I then ran off after her. "What about your-"Grillby began to say. "Put it on my tab Grillby!" I yelled as I ran after chara.
(Time skip. Reason: I'ma lazy BONES! (≧▽≦) OK NO MORE JOKES. BAK TO THE STORY.)
I lost Chara.
Great. I didn't know what to do other than call and hope she answers. But she didn't. So I left a voicemail. "Hey chara. Sorry about earlier......I just wanted you to know how I felt about you before you left.... ....call me back when you can." I then ended the voicemail and went on my merry way. Until I heard this: "You have: 1 NEW VOICEMAIL. ACCEPT? YES? OR NO?" And that wasn't my phone. I then heard my voice play back and I knew that she was around. I followed the sound as it played and she was sitting on a log in the woods. Crying. I went to her side in an attempt to comfort her, but she scooted away and said, "Sans. Did you really mean what you said?"she said between sobs. "Yes. I've had a crush on you since three days ago." That's sounded bad didn't it? "Sans................
. . . . . . "I have a crush on you too."
I couldn't believe it. She really did like me too.
And she pulled me in for a hug, rather than a kiss. And I just held her and she sobbed into my jacket, getting it sopping wet. But I didn't mind. Maybe she'd stay after all.
