Code: Nemesis

Sitting in a meeting with a bunch of idiots was not how I will spend my 2nd day of surviving the unbeatable. Other than that, there was news that the Headquarters will be attacked by another community, SnowFlakes Fairies.

Harshly grabbed by the Leader, he made me sit at a long table with 13 other people including Shion and the rest. Noticing the quietness, it must be a War Table. Filled with Coders such as myself. They were talking among themselves and showing angry gestures. Once the Head and I sat down, everyone shushed.

"Head, what's your opinion on the matter?" A late 40s man asked, slamming his hand onto the table. The gasps came in, which means they're obviously scared of asking that question themselves. Kawahara Miyuki, the Leader of the community attacking us, must be a taboo subject. Knowing that, I could see Team Inahari being bored, as if they know what is going to be in store.

"More or less, Miyuki," Without honorifics, I could notice that the Head and her was close. "Is the only member of SnowFlakes Fairies of the District 1, Eastern Tokyo. But, we have to keep our guard up. Defeating her isn't easy, even if I have 100 times more members than her."

"What makes her a foe anyway? Can't you just use us?" At the far end of the table, was the foreigner I saw earlier. "As Team Genome, we can crush her!" All her teammates, 8 members, cheered for her.

Looking at everyone, her green eyes widened at me. Brimming with such confidence, her legs must have felt weak that she had to look away. At the side of her cheeks, were slight tints of red.

"Andou-San, as Code: Evergreen, there's is no need for Team Genome to battle. To say, it'll be dangerous to have anyone with the affinity of the elements. Meaning, it's be best for our special groups to go ahead." I see. Remembering information Rei gave, Kawahara Miyuki was coined as Freezing Bishop. If anything, fire would work against it. However, if Head wouldn't let anyone with elemental Codes to go, then her Code must be able to freeze just about anything.

"How are we going to do the operation, Leader?" Shion, Rei, and Kiriya stood up. With the others not standing, this must be the only group that has the aptitude for the task.

"Why, we'll let her walk in our trap, of course." Clapping his pale hands together, everyone looked at him. I laid my head on the table obviously bored.

"Team Inahari shall be the head of this operation. Nakamura-San will join Team Inahari. Any members of your teams without elemental Codes will cooperate with them," He paused for a second, as if he was thinking right now. "And we shall wait for further notice by her."

I sighed walking out of the room. Putting my hands to the back of my head, my mind went deep in thought through the narrow walkway. Many people looked at me, murmuring about me, the new Coder.

Much to say, I haven't even accepted being here in Endless Paradox. I didn't want to be in this whole mess. But why, on that night, I went with them to meet this new plot? Can't I leave already, not to be in this complicated matter anymore?

But it's a sensou, War. Just being a Coder brands me from reality. In fact, what are Coders? People of this community who just want world domination? If it's that, then why are there still 16 communities? Why aren't they attacking mindlessly?

Miyuki Kawahara, <Freezing Bishop>, Leader of Snowflakes Fairies of Eastern Tokyo, what is her motive of attacking? Only by herself, what does she plan to do? What if she was-

"Excuse me! Earth to Mars, baka!" Opening my eyes, blue eyes was what caught my eyes. Wearing a white blouse, black jeans, with a green hat complimenting her blonde hair, it was Yuuki Andou, the foreigner.

Thanks to Rei's information and Kiriya's comments, Yuuki was sent from France to help Endless Paradox. As an exchange student, she reimburse herself learning Japanese from her half British and Japanese. Code: Evergreen, she's known to be the top of healing, also with her plant skills as well. A 2nd year in high school, more or less, 15 years old.
