You're the one

Chapter One

It was early. I knew that much. I just didn't know the exact time. What I didn't understand, was why I had to move from my bed right now. I didn't understand why I had to move either. My life was finally starting to get better. Then this happens. I groaned and got up and started getting dressed. It was about nine o'clock on this cold January morning. I looked at all my boxes of clothes and my furniture that was gone. I sighed and picked up my new clean bra and put it on. I did the same with my underwear. I picked up my skinny jeans and slid them on. I grabbed my tank-top and put it on. I lifted up my T-shirt and smiled. It said "I need a hug" with a picture of two slices of bread. One with jelly one with peanut butter. I giggled. When I was dressed I put on my socks and put on my Uggs. I plugged in my straightener and did my hair. When I was finished I waited for it too cool down so I could put it in my bag. When it was cooled, I put it in my bag put on my coat and went down stairs. When I got down stairs everyone was outside waiting. I'm always the last one. Damn. I took one last look at our house and sighed. When I got outside Sierra was standing there. Her face was red, from crying or from the cold, I couldn't tell. When I walked up too her I could tell it was from both. I frowned at her. She giggled.

" I'm going to miss you."

She sniffled

" I'm going to miss you too, girly."

"if you meet hot boys my age give them my number."

" I will."

I laughed and tried not to cry. She hugged me. I hugged back and let my tears fall.

"crying without me are you??!?"

We turned and seen Raven. We opened our arms for her to come in the hug.

" Shannon hurry up!!"

My mom yelled.

"kay."

I called, pulling away from the hug and laughing.

"were all a mess."

We giggled.

"text us every night and facetime or oovoo when you need a face to face convo ."

Raven said smiling.

"I will."

I said giving them one last hug before I went off to the rest of my horrible life. I got in the car. I waved bye while my mom drove away. I thought of all our memories we had together. The fights. The chopstick in the face. I smiled and laughed to myself.

"why do we have to move again?"

" because, I need this job, Shannon. We went over this time and time again."

"sorry. I just don't see the point."

I took out my iPod and turned on my music. I slowly drifted off to sleep. I felt the car stop. I slowly opened my eyes. I looked out the window expecting to see our new house. Nope. Burger king. Sighing I unplugged my ear phones. I looked at my phone too see my background. It was a picture of me, Sierra, and Raven. We were holding up an ICONic boys poster and pointing to our favorite one. Sierra was pointing to Mikey, Raven was pointing to Vinny, and I was pointing to Madison. I sighed once more and got out of the car. My mom smiled to me and we walked in. I checked my phone for the time. It's only noon? Man my mom's a slow driver. We walked in to Burger King and I sat down. My mom looked at me.

"ten piece chicken nuggets, large fries and an orange soda."

She rolled her eyes and laughed. I always get that. She shouldn't even have to look at me and ask! She should know by now. My phone went off. I

Cee: how's the new house?

I hit reply.

S: we aren't even there yet.

Cee: man, your moms a slow driver.

S: ha. That's what I said. And were at Burger King. And its snowing!!

Cee: I know. I'm in the snow now.

S: hahaha, have fun. My moms finally here with my food.

Cee: wait let me guess ten piece chicken nugget large fries and an orange soda?

S: yes..

Cee: hahaha, hey I gotta go, text me when you get to the house!

S: Okay, talk to ya later.

I turned off my phone and looked around the restaurant. I seen a bunch of boys leaving. By the looks of it they were cute. One looked back at me and I quickly looked away. My mom came with our food. I grabbed mine and ate like I haven't in forever. Before I did I counted to make sure I got exactly ten chicken nuggets. Weird I know, don't judge. When we were finished we got in the car and drove to our "new" house. Oh my god, I just can't wait to be the new girl again...
