Chapter Five

A few days later my alarm started ringing and I tried to play sick. I was out all night with the girls, knowing I had to start school the next morning. Well at least it’s a Friday. Vin’s party is tomorrow. The girls are coming tonight for his party and to get ready tomorrow. I lazily got up and walked over to the bathroom. I got in the shower and felt the warm water hit my skin. Ten minutes later I got out and got dressed in a red and blue long sleeve shirt, skinny jeans, and my black Vans. I did my make up and put on my jewelry. I put on my hoodie then my coat and grabbed my bag and got in the car where my mom was waiting for me. She started the car and we went to dunkin’ doughnuts. I got a coffee and a doughnut and we were on the road again. I ate in the car. We pulled up to the front of the school. Here I go. My mom went in with me so I wouldn’t get lost. We walked into the building and to the principal’s office. He showed us around the school then he took me to the part I dreaded the most. My new class. Great. He opened the door and walked in. I followed. I looked at the kids at their desks and seen Madison!! Oh my god. He looked up when he heard the principal talking. He saw my face and smiled. The teacher showed me my seat. On the other side of the room. Madison quickly asked for his seat to be changed. I put my head in my hands. He would. The teacher approved. The teacher came over to me and introduced himself.

"I’m Mr. Andrews. Welcome to Washington High School"

" I’m Shannon."

" nice to meet you. So you know we have a very excellent foot ball team right?"

" cool."

I said bluntly.

"yeah, so is our chee-"

" not interested."

I replied cutting his statement short.

"okay. So you know madison huh?"

"yeah, he’s my neighbor."

"okay."

he answered. 

He walked away. The rest of the day madison walked me to all of my classes and sat next to me at lunch. He’s so sweet.

After school we went to his house and made some snacks and sat in the den. We did our homework and he put on some movie and I fell asleep trying to pay attention to it.

"Shannon!"

"Yea"

I was brought out of my sleep and being shaken.

"You fell asleep"

I looked up to see Madison laughing. 

"It's not funny."

It was a dream, calm down, it was just a dream. I stood up and we went in the kitchen for some snacks.

"so are you ready for Vin’s party tomorrow?"

" yeah. You?"

"yes."

" the girls are sleeping over my house tonight and then we will do everything to get ready tomorrow."

"no matter what you guys will still look beautiful."

" Well, we thank you."

"no problem."

He said kissing my cheek. I blushed and sat down at the table. He turned on the radio and “ the motto” started playing. I LOVE this song!! I can imagine Mike doing a cover of this song. Me and Madison started dancing. The song was over and they went to commercials. He slowly walked over to me. I smiled. He put his hands on my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He slowly leaned in. As did I. Two minutes later I heard the door bell and his mom talking. The door closed and footsteps came closer towards us.

"oh shitt get itt Shannon !!"

I pulled away quickly, wiped my mouth, and turned to see Raven and Sierra. How did they know I was here? Mom probably. They smiled and lifted up their dresses for tomorrow. I giggled and walked over to them, admiring their dresses. 

"see ya later Madison, we're taking her back."

Sierra said jumping on my back.

"see ya later." 

I said rolling my eyes and grabbing my jacke, then we left for my house. We walked in my house and ran up to my room. I jumped on my bed and started smiling. I got up and went to my dresser and got out pj’s for the three of us. We got dressed and started talking and laughing. I walked over to my laptop bag and got out my MacBook pro. I turned around and their eye’s lit up like Christmas lights. God, I love them. I walked over to my bed and I opened it up. I waited for it to load and clicked on the photo booth app. We clicked on different effects and took pictures. I put the ones I like most in my email and sent them to my phone and on Facebook. My phone went off. I clicked the message. 6 new friend requests. Damn. I clicked the request bar and realized they were from the boys. I had a notification too. I clicked on it. It read “ Madison Alamia commented on your photo” I clicked on it and it took me to the photo. It was a picture of me, Raven, and Sierra making funny faces. He commented “ yous are weirdo’s" I replied with a simple "duh" and he liked it. I locked my phone and went back to taking pictures. A couple minutes later I closed my laptop and turned on my T.V. Raven took the remote and put on Disney Channel. She would. I laid back on my bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.
