Chapter Four

The next day woke up to the girls playing just dance 3. Of course. My phone started ringing. I looked at it to see an unknown number. I unlocked my phone and read the text.

(text convo)

M: Hey

S: Hi who's this?

M: madison , what are you doing?

S: oh hey, and nothing watching Sierra and Raven play just dance. You?

M: nothing, bored.

S: fun

M: yea. Do you's wanna hang out today ?

S: yeah sure. Give us about half an hour?

M: yea, sure take your time

S: okay, see ya later

M: ok

I locked my phone and looked up to see Raven and Sierra looking at me.

"yes?"

I said getting out of bed. I walked over to my closet and got out fresh clothes for the three of us.

" your actually up and getting dressed. "

Raven stated.

"Yea , and? what's that have to do with anything?"

"You're a lazy fuck."

Sierra replied.

"Gee, thanks!"

" haha. Sorry, We love ya!"

They said in unison.

"I'm getting a shower. Get dressed, theres a bathroom down the hall you's can use too, we're going to Madison's"

I said taking my clothes and leaving. I got in the shower. 20 minutes later I got out and got dressed. I took my tank top and put it on. I did the same with my orange shirt. I took my jeans and put them on. I put on my socks and shoes and I was ready to go. I dried my hair a little then scrunched it. I walked back into my room grabbed my hoodie and we left for Madison's house. As I walked out of the house the cold winter breeze hit my face. I inhaled deeply. I love the smell of fresh air. We walked up to his front door and I took in a deep breath and knocked lightly enough for them to hear it. I heard footsteps and then the door opened. I looked up to see Madison smiling at me. He held the door open wider for us to come in. We walked in and he closed the door behind us. He led us into the kitchen. His mom and dad were sitting there. They looked up from the papers and smiled to us.

"mom, dad, this is Shannon, Raven and Sierra. Girls, this is my mom and dad."

They smiled and his mom went right in for the hug.

"How do you like Englishtown?"

"ehh, it's okay. I'm not used to it all yet."

"Yet?"

She asked.

"She just moved in yesterday mom"

"You two girls live in Philly?"

His dad asked and the girls nodded.

"You're a long way from home."

He stated.

"Home is where Shannon is"

Raven joked and his parents laughed.

"Well, it was nice meeting you girls. We hope to see you guys a lot more"

We said goodbye and went down to his basement. He and the girls sat down on the couch. I sat on the bean bag chair. I was getting hot so I took off my hoodie and my shirt went up but I caught it in time to pull it back down again. Thank god.

"Wanna help me and the boys plan Vin's surprise party?"

"Yea"

"okay."

"okay so we should rent a big hall get a DJ, invite his friends and family and everything." 

" can I get decorations and everything?"

I asked.

" that's about the only thing she will remember to do."

Raven replied.

"okay."

"I can help with chips and sodas"

Sierra added. 

"yeah. Raven your gonna have to keep him distracted for a few days, okay?"

Madison stated.

"sure thing. I can help manage the playlist for the music too"

We stayed there all day having fun and laughing and getting to know each other more. My mom texted me and told me that Raven's mom was here to get them. We said goodbye to Madison and we left. We walked back over to my house too see Raven's mom waiting for them. They got in the car and left. I walked into my house and up the stairs to my room. I start school in two days, fantastic. I changed into my pj's and went downstairs and got a snack and a blue jollyrancher soda. I turned on the tv in my room and put on south park. 

"How was your day?" 

My mom asked as she peeked her head in the door and handing me a brown paper bag.

"it was okay. We're helping the boys plan Vinny's birthday party."

"That sounds fun."

She said as I opened the bag and the smell of chicken fingers filled my nose.

"i figured you'd be hungry"

I smiled and thanked her and she sat next to me. 

"something good will come out of this move hunny. I promise."

She said hugging me. 

I sure hope so.
