lexi pov

"ready to go?" i asked the girls. we were all dressed in our bathing suits now and tanks and shorts over.

"hell yeah and meghan ur driving!" sofia yelled to meghan who just laughed. we left my house and went into megs tesla🙄🙄🙄

30 minutes later, we finally got to the place and i immediately regretted coming here.

"this should be interesting," i mumble to no one in particular, looking up at the house and walking to the front door, the girls behind.

sofia knocked on the door and we were all just standing outside until a blonde boy with long curly hair and another guy with short brown hair holding a dog opened the door.

"hey," the blond boy gives us a friendly smile. "are you alexis?" he slowly said, pointing at me.

"yup, and it's lexi by the way." we all smiled as the boys invited us in.

"vinnie's outside. come in, come in," the brown hair boy says, gesturing for us to go inside.

"aw your dogs so cute." kayla said to kio, petting his dog. "well he isn't the only cute one." kio said and the other girls and i shared a look, noticing that kayla was blushing.

"i'm kio"
"kayla"

we all walked through the house to the backyard and that's when i saw him.

he was simply cleaning the pool, somehow making that attractive as his shirtless body flexed, the sunlight shining on his tats. it wasn't hard to admit that he did in fact look so much more attractive in person.

tattoos were flawless, perfect hair, sharp jaw that looked like it could cut paper, plus he had light blue swim shorts on that couldn't hide the fact that he was definitely packing down there— he was the epitome of a fuckboy.

right when he noticed us standing there, he smiled, immediately putting down the net, then started making his way towards us. it was way too late to back away now.

"alexis," vinnie said, smiling and displaying those perfect pearly whites. as he got closer i noticed that the girls had walked away and were in another area of the background with the other guys.

"vincent." i replied, now we were standing in front of each other and i could feel his eyes roaming over my body, checking me out.

"since when am i vincent?"

"is that not your name?"

"well yeah but since when did you start calling me that," he scoffed, emphasizing the you. then he took a step closer to me but we were still at a respectable distance, i just had to look up at him now since he was much taller than me.

i rolled my eyes and he said, "don't roll your eyes at me. i don't like it plus u don't want to get punished later, or do u?" he smirked at his comment, probably thinking he was clever. which made me roll my eyes again.

"alexis." vinnie said in a softer whisper tone, eyeing me up and down again, drinking me in like water.

i felt my body stiffen and i honeslty didn't know what to expect from this hangout, but it was certainly not this.

"relax, i'm just playing with you," vinnie chuckles, running a hand through his perfect curls. "or am i?" "douche," i scoff jokingly, moving my own hand through my hair now.

it's quiet for a second. everyone went inside to do something, leaving vinnie and i in the backyard together for who knows how much longer.

"ahhh, now i get it," vinnie speaks, clicking his tongue and finally breaking the silence, as he moves to walk around me in a slight circle now, stopping right behind me.

"you're like me with the vinnie-vincent shit. makes sense." i can sense him over my shoulder, nodding his head and i mimic the action.

"everyone calls you lexi tho and i want to call u something that you don't get called often. so how about it, lex?" he said, whispering in my ear and i could feel his warm breath on my neck.

"fine," i said in a blank tone, trying to keep my cool and not lean back into him. the thought driving me insane as it wouldn't leave my mind.

"so, what are you waiting for?" he said, now back in a casual tone.

"what?" i chuckled nervously and was about to turn around and face him —

but that's when i felt my feet lift off the ground and muscular arms around my waist, vinnie. before i knew it i was being thrown in the pool, vinnie jumping in right after making me shriek.

"what the fuck vinnie!" i said, "my clothes r still on!" but vinnie didn't care and he was just dying of laughter which made me roll my eyes at him again and made me laugh a little.

but right after, he got closer to me, wrapping his arms around my waist, "what did i say about you rolling your eyes at me hm?" he said in a deeper tone, inches away from my face, "now strip."

i didn't protest and i took my clothes off, but because i wanted to, not cause he told me, so now i was in my bathing suit.

"cute bikini," vinnie said chuckling, "dress up for me?" this dudes mood was always changing, i couldn't help roll my eyes again at his cockiness and how confusing he was acting.

"now, how'd you know?" i reply sarcastically, making him roll his eyes this time. "cannonball contest?"

it took a while before the others came and joined the two outside. despite them not being alone anymore, vinnie and lexi couldn't stop taking discreet peeks of each other, for the rest of the night.
