i look out the window of my bedroom to see vinnie on his phone in his car, just sitting there.

even though i've already been alone with him a bunch of times before, my heart starts racing so fast and i was struggling to get myself together.

i took sofia's advice and put on some lip balm, mascara and pop a tic tac in my mouth before running downstairs, checking myself in the hall mirror on the way and try flattening my outfit for absolutely no reason.
