I know I'm quite early for his birthday (specifically, 20 days early 🤣), but by the time January 25 comes, I could already see how busy I would be on his special day. 🤕 With that, I made sure to write this ahead of time. 😙👍

Happy Birthday to one of the best middle blockers in Haikyuu, Suna Rintarou! 🥳❤️ Words can't even express how much I have fallen for this boy and how proud I am to him, it's like I wanna scream how amazing and admirable Suna is. (to those who have seen the final guidebook and complete illustration book content, you know what I mean hihi 🥺)

This is my contribution and offering to everyone for his birthday! Rest assured that this special chapter does not contain any manga spoilers! ☺️ The funny thing is, this was how my birthday went except I don't have a special someone *cries in single* (don't worry it's alright I want to focus on my academics first 😌👍)

Can't believe that we're also halfway to the special chapters! Thank you for reading and supporting this book T^T maybe I'll surprise y'all with another Suna book again hehe maybe? úwù

Happy reading! ❤️

Suna Rintarou isn't the type of person who fully enjoys celebration, especially when it is his own birthday.

Sure, he does love to document and film memorable moments of anyone's special day, but he never sees his own birthday the same way as other people think. For Suna, it was only another ordinary day.

Still, he would stay up until 12 am to see which twin would greet him first. That was the only thing that entertains him on his birthday, the first minute, then he would simply go back to bed like it was a normal day. He wouldn't have a hard time going to sleep or anything, Suna doesn't feel excited at all.

Though there's this one thing that has been happening to him, and Suna doesn't know why it always (or rather mostly) happens on his birthday in his years of existence.

"Seriously?" Suna mumbles to himself, grabbing another roll of tissue to wipe his runny rose.

"Dear, are you alright?"

His mother opens his room with the spare key she has, seeing how his hair was messier than usual, his glassy eyes and red nose were clear evidence that this isn't only from the cold season that January brings. She quickly went out of his room to grab her 'sick child starter pack', as for how she calls it. While her right hand opens her kit, his mother's other hand reaches out to hold his forehead, gasping and mumbling how it was abnormally hot.

"This year again?"

A sigh came out from his mother as she checked his temperature, reading 38.5 °C. This isn't surprising to her at all, the two wanted to believe that it was solely a pure coincidence. However, with four consecutive years of falling ill on the same day, his birthday to be exact, the two are already having second thoughts.

"Don't worry too much about me, mum."

"Nonsense, Rintarou. I'm always worried about you, look how a mess you are! Especially on your birthday." His mother sighs, opening one cool fever and placing one on his forehead.

"Can I not go to school today, mum?" Suna groggily asks, there was a hint of tease in his voice that made an irk mark appear on his mother's forehead.

"With the current condition you are, do you think I'll still let you go to school?" His mother scolds him, crossing her arms that made Suna feel bad. He only wanted to lift the down spirits of his mother.
