Harry's POV

My palms are sweating. I don't know why I'm so nervous. But I'm a fucking wreck. I'm standing up here fucking waiting. It's cold as hell. Why the fuck did I come up with the great idea of getting married in March outside? Oh right. Because one of Aspen's favorite movies was Pride and Prejudice, and she'd never Stourhead Gardens in person. I wanted to make this her dream wedding, because she was my dream. So if I got frostbite, so fucking be it. She deserved this.

It was foggy. Which was sort of perfect. Because of her favorite scene. It looked like rain which was also sort of perfect. Everyone in front of me was sat comfortably due to the space heaters that had been placed in between the rows.

I hadn't expected this many people to show up. Aspen insisted on signs that said pick a seat not a side. Mainly because she said her side would be empty and my side would have people punching each other over who got to sit there.

Which made me laugh, but looking out now I see she was sort of right. Her dad was here. Everyone else she knew was in the wedding party. I had arranged for a few seats to be saved up front for her mom, brother, and family that couldn't make it like her grandmother to be FaceTime'd on ipads that were sitting on the seat. She told me she had a huge extended family. Most of them living in California, but most likely none of them would come due to the distance.

I heard the music start. The instrumental to I Wanna Hold Your Hand.

I took a deep breath as the wedding party started to make their way up the isle.

Louis held Evelyn's hand. She beamed at me as she sauntered up the isle in her blue and purple gown.  When they reached me Evelyn gave me a motion to lean down to her with her finger. I crouched down and she put her hand to my ear.

"Mom looks bloody beautiful, Dad. You're gonna wanna get gross later." She had meant to whisper. Only Evelyn didn't really ever whisper. It was more like soft yelling. Everyone started laughing.

She moved over to the end of the isle, as Elizabeth and Liam walked arm in arm down the isle toward me. My breath caught. She looked so grown up. She was taller than Aspen now. Her long curly hair hanging down her back, and her big aquamarine eyes sparkling. She gave me a big smile, her braces showing. Which was something she didn't do often. She hated them.

But two nights before Niall had sat her down and talked to her. Told her to embrace those braces. That she was beautiful even with a mouth full of hardwire. It made her like the bionic woman.

When they reached me she leaned up and kissed my cheek. "You are so gonna cry Dad." Elizabeth grinned. "Mom looks like a princess."

Emma walked up the isle next with Zayn. She looked stunning. I couldn't believe how grown up these three girls were now. When she got to the end right in front of me she gave me two finger guns. Sarah came next with Niall. Then Lou with Ed. Then Gemma with Jeff. Gemma gave me a hug and whispered something in my ear that made tears prick at my eyes. Then April with Mitch. As they took their places my god son's Jackson and Arlo walked Tofu down the isle. A pillow on his back with the rings held into it. My god daughter Ruby bringing up the end of the wedding party. Scattering orchids and blue tulip petals over the isle. When she got to the end she dumped her little basket over and banged on the bottom making everyone laugh.

The music changed. An instrumental version of If I Could Fly playing on violins and soft piano. I took a deep breath.

I can't bring myself to look up yet. So I stare at the ground. My body is shaking. I feel Mitch's hand on my shoulder. I let my eyes scan down the isle and see a pair of sparkly white Converse tennis shoes. In purple on the front of one it says Call Me on the other in blue it says Trevor. I can't help it I start laughing. I see that she is lifting the bottom of the dress with her hands. It's not a traditional wedding dress. She told me that when Emma designed it for her, she made it because it reminded Emma of me. Timeless. I didn't understand what that meant. Not until now.
