(Hawks' P.O.V.)

Well apparently I'm teaming up with the new top hero. Endeavor. A man I've always idolized. I've been told he has kind of crappy personality but I've never personally met him. I've only watch him save people in videos. They informed me that they told him the information he needed on me so we just gotta meet and we can start working. I'm flying towards the meeting place at the moment. A few moments later, I land and walk over to him. He's taller than I expected and looks much grumpier. "You're late," he says in an irritated tone. I feel like this is something I'll have to get used to. "My bad, I saw some guy trying to hurt some lady and I went to deal with it," I said with a chuckle. I rub the back of my neck nervously. "So uh you're Endeavor? The new number one," I ask curiously. He clicked his tongue. "Yes, but I didn't earn the right to be called that." So uptight, as expected. He always seemed like an angry guy in the photos I've seen him in. "You go by Hawks, right," He asks. "Yeah, is there something we can do or is this what we're gonna do the entire time?" I'm getting bored. If he's this boring then I might as well always be late. "I've heard you like chicken, despite being a bird," He says, having a slightly calmer expression. I feel all sort of confused. "I'm a bird, not a chicken. It should be fine, right??" I chuckle and glance around. His stare is kinda intense. "It doesn't matter much to me. We could walk around the city, will that satisfy you?" I nod and give a small smile.

(Endeavor's P.O.V.)

He seems so relaxed all the time. It's quite calming but if he is going to be like this even in dangerous situations, I'll have to request a new partner. His wings seem to demonstrate his emotions. They're currently ruffled up, perhaps he's tense. Despite the smile on his face, he seems uncomfortable. We begin walking around the city. People keep staring at him, I wonder why. Then it crosses my mind that he sped up the rankings and is now in second place. I question how he did that so quickly. It's nearly impossible. His abilities must be better than I assumed. It could also be his appearance. If I weren't heterosexual, I would say he is attractive. However, I am straight and do not see him as anything but a co-worker. He seems to be the type of person who's mind is impossible to understand. It seems as though you could never guess what he's thinking. It makes me more curious. Perhaps I will find out in the near future.

(Hawks' P.O.V.)

I'll admit, he looks good. The problem is his personality. Now, I don't know him personally so I can't say that know what he's like. His very presence seems aggressive. I know, I know, I can't judge him based off of that but if he does act like an asshole all the time, this is gonna be difficult. Hopefully, he isn't like that so everything is easier but ya never know. I've been in the types of relationships with partners whos personalities changed so quickly I couldn't keep up. I hate when that happens. I don't like not knowing things. If that makes any sense. We talked about random things like cases we've worked on recently, but nothing about our personal lives. I guess it makes sense. I doubt he trusts me yet. Key word: Yet. I plan on gaining his trust so that we can actually be friends. The term co-worker seems too strict. Anyway, we stop for some tokoyaki. I buy some and offer some to him but he declines. We kept walking after that. He kept talking as I ate. This isn't too bad. Nice.
