"You're going with her?" Pansy asked as she sat on her bed, looking at Raven who was clasping the green shoes she wore. Like she'd promised Hermione, the Slytherin wore a tight black dress with green jewelry.
"Yup." Raven said with a small huff, standing up, well over her usual height as Pansy watched her do so.
"Why the sudden change of heart? You can't just stop hating someone over night, Raven." Pansy said as she stood as well, shorter then Raven did but not by too much.
"You can actually, wanna know why?" Raven asked as she poked her earring into her ears, pushing her hair back to show off the bleached underside of her hair, "Because I did."
"You're just saying that." Pansy proceeded to nag at Raven as she followed her toward the large mirror they shared, watching as Raven pulled the top half up her hair in a loose bun in the back of her head, letting it appear as though she only had the bleached locks that were very recently touched up, "You have something planned, you don't care for her like you're trying to make everyone think. You have no reason or any sense of doing so."
"Things change when stuff happens, Pansy, Hermione understands something that no one ever will." Raven proceeded as she bit the green snake clip before pushing it into her hair to keep the bumps down.
"Yeah, like what?" Pansy asked as she crossed her arms, staring at Raven through the mirror, watching the Black girls dark eyes snap up to meet hers through the reflection.
"Like being in love with your best friend and them not loving you back." Raven snapped at her as she spun on her heels to glare at Pansy who's face fell.
"It was two years ago, Raven, you said you weren't bothered by it anymore." Pansy said as she dropped her voice, embarrassed to know that if they spoke loud enough the slytherin common room would hear them.
"Oh, believe me, I am." Raven said with a scoff and a roll of her eyes, "Doesn't mean I don't know what it feels like, she's not bad either, she's been a lot nicer to me in the past week then anyone ever else has been."
"She's a mudbl-" Pansy began before she was cut off with chocking coughs as she struggled the leave, Ravens ring covers hand wrapped tightly around her neck. The Black girl took a joy in watched her face go purple, gasping under her hold.
"Watch your mouth." Raven threaded her in a calm and collective tone, a smirk across her face as she let Pansy struggle for a moment longer before she retrieved her hand back to her side. The Parkinson girl gasped for air as she fell on her bed, looking up to say something but only found the room empty.
"Well, took you long enough." Hermione commented as she saw Raven walking down the hall, more so heard her heels clicking from miles away.
"I knew you didn't like it." Raven commented as she noticed Hermione in a light pink dress with a low cut, one that was calling out for Ravens attention as the Slytherin acted as if it didn't have such a effect on her.
