the first day of school
third pov

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, oh how you either loved it or dreaded it. it came the day where students would wear their best fits or even make new friends yet, you can't forget the first-day fights and drama. the school would be crowded with faces you wouldn't see a week after, and the teachers would be desperately attempting to learn the students names. the freshmen were excited to experience high school for the first time and seniors were happy they were soon to leave. one thing is for certain, the first day of school was always significant.

y/n had been looking forward to a new school, with her new friends, and her brand new life. boris only liked the thought of going to school since y/n would be there, and theo, well theo actually enjoyed learning.

the three packed themselves onto the school bus, boris sitting next to y/n and theo sitting by himself in a seat across from the couple. the trio laughed and talked about the day ahead, unaware of what they were about to encounter.

"how long does it take for us to get to school?" y/n asked out of curiosity. she had never experienced taking a school bus to school, mostly because she rather have walked there instead.

"we have one stop after and then it's 10 minutes," theo explained. y/n nodded her head before resting it upon boris' shoulder. he smiled at her, wrapping his arm around her in doing so. theo rolled his eyes at the couple and cracked open a novel to read yet, he was smiling inside knowing that the two most important people in his life were happy and together.

the bus trailed down long and bumpy roads until approaching it's final stop. a few kids were lined up outside, faces y/n failed to recognize...all except one.

"kotku!" someone exclaimed as the girl stepped on the bus. her long, dark brown hair bounced with every step she took down the bus aisle, causing heads to spin as she catwalked to her seat. boris gazed at her as his jaw-dropped at the appearance of his former lover. y/n observed this, instantly becoming both angry and envious.

"what's she doing here?" theo asked boris, him being just as confused as y/n was.

"don't know. she walks to school usually," boris shrugged before smiling down on y/n. "i will not allow kotku to bother you, understand?"

y/n smiled and nodded, the harsh, negative feelings she was experiencing coming to ease. she trusted boris, and boris trusted himself-- he would never cheat on y/n or interact in kotku in that way.

the rest of the bus ride became uncomfortable for the three, with all eyes on kotku while her eyes were only on boris. y/n was not okay with this, and deep inside she was afriad that boris would go back to kotku. theo was rather livid, upset that kotku was even in their presence. and boris, will boris was conflicted.

he didn't want to feel what he felt when he saw kotku--

SILLA SAYS!
uh oh dramaaaaa...
also quick question, do
you guys prefer longer,
shorter, or medium
chapters?

ex: my past chapters
would be considered
'short' since they're
only around 400 words.
a medium chapter would
be like 600-700 words and
a long one would be any-
thing over 1000.

lmk pls :)
