"I PROMISE SHE'S LYING," boris said rapidly, his accent almost undetectable to the rest of the three. he didn't know what kotku's intentions were, but he surely did not cheat on y/n. theo only looked at him disgust while y/n failed to look at him in his eyes.
kotku rolled her eyes. "then what's this?" she asked before showing the three a positive pregnancy test. boris' eyes widened before y/n's hand flew to her mouth as a quiet gasp felt from her mouth.
"no...kotku, no. that's impossible, i have not seen you since you walk out on me! do not lie!"
she shrugged. "sure boris, you know where to find me when you're ready to talk about your child."
koktu sashayed away from the three as they all shared the same dumbfounded look. y/n could almost feel her heart break while she clutched her chest in attempt to calm her vigorously pounding heart.
"boris, is what she just said true?" theo asked, his tone rather harsh. theo did not expect boris to cheat on y/n however, he was not surprised.
"no potter! she's fucking lying!" boris yelled angrily at him. "when have you seen me with her? hm? never!"
"don't fucking yell at him! you're the one who cheated!" y/n yelled in theo's defense, causing boris' eyes to grow wide.
y/n never yelled at him, even at the times where he angered her to most.
"y/n-"
"boris i-i, i just need a break okay? i'm going outside to get some fresh air, and don't you dare fucking follow me."

at home, the tension between the trio was thicker than a three dollar steak.

at home, the tension between the trio was thick; everyone avoided one another. boris stayed outside, smoking cigarette after cigarette thinking of what he can tell y/n to make her believe that he did not cheat on her. he didn't know what to do with kotku and her allegations, but he was furious that she would make such things up. even if she was pregnant, there was no way it was boris' child; they hadn't slept with one another for nearly half a year.
y/n could be found in the bedroom her and boris shared, softly crying into the sheets while the day played over and over in her head. she tried to convince herself that she could trust boris, but kotku claims made it very hard to do so. although she would never admit it, she was very envious of kotku.
in y/n's eyes, kotku had everything y/n did not; beauty, a body, and even boris' virginity. her and boris never went past making out, so she also quickly assumed that he slept with kotku because he missed having sex. no matter what she thought of, nothing could make y/n happy at that moment.
theo was found in the kitchen, comfort cooking while humming the tune of his favorite song. he didn't like the turn of events that day, so he decided he would talk to boris about what happened. one thing about theo was when he had a plan, it almost never fell through.
first he approached boris, a steak on a plate in head as a peace offering. theo had felt guilty that he even thought boris would cheat on y/n, after all the time he had given boris advice on becoming better for her. he choked on the massive cigarette fumes outside, but still managed to confront boris who sat in front of the wall, smoking his cigarette.
"hey man, can we talk?" theo asked, placing the plate next to boris.
boris put out his cigarette on the wall. "sure."
"if you say you didn't cheat on y/n, i believe you. okay? but it doesn't matter what i think, what matters is your relationship with y/n. you've changed so much since we've met her, and i'd hate to see you lose her because you haven't fixed this."
boris shook is head. "she does not believe. i saw in her eyes, y/n thinks i am a liar."
"then tell her the truth, tell her how you feel about her boris. i can see it," theo explained.
"see what?"
"i can see that you love her."
