LOUD KNOCKING AT THE door startled young theo as he was simply making a sandwich to eat. y/n and boris had been fooling around all night the day prior, primary the reason they were fast asleep on an early sunday.
in a hurry, theo paced to the door since the repetitive sound of aggressive knocking would not cool itself. in annoyance he flung the door carelessly open, revealing a man who he knew way too well. he stepped back to gather himself.
"mr. pavlikosky," theo cleared his throat. "what do i do the honors?"
"foolish kid," he sneered in annoyance. "where is my son?
"don't know," theo lied. "now, if you could please never come back it would be-"
"potter who are you talking to?" boris yelled from up the stairs. theo cursed at him in his head. by now boris' dad had been livid, his once worn out pale face was now a hot, angry red. boris stopped walking down once he saw his father at the door, his heart was pounding so hard it could be heard from where his father was standing.
"Идите сюда!" his father yelled angrily. boris slowly approached the door as theo stepped out of his way, afraid of what would happen.
"i'll be back theo," boris said-- which frankly, was something theo heard one too many times.

( note : his conversation with his father is in russian , but i wrote it in english bc i'm lazy <3 )"when did you come back?" i asked being both annoyed and shocked at his sudden appearance. i have not seen my father for maybe a year now, and suddenly he was here when my life's fallen into place.
"because i have my business and money here you piece of shit," he spat back. "what the fuck are you doing at this house? this is not your home."
"this is my home!" i answer, now angry. "and i have a girlfriend, and if i ever become a dad i'll make sure i'm not a shitty one like you!"
before he spat any words out, my mind became clouded, my vision blurry, and my face aching.
he hit me.
before i knew it i was on the floor, looking at a blurry vision of my father who stood over me.
"i don't ever want to see you again," he said before walking away. seconds later i hear the voices of y/n and theo asking if i was okay or what had happened.
when i got clear vision, i got up, putting my hand up to signal that i was okay. y/n moved in to hug me but i stepped back, not wanting to be touched. "i'll be right back" was all i said before leaving.

the alley was silent; the dark, alcohol fumed atmosphere slightly choked up boris as he strolled down the narrow pathway in search for his comfort. he felt guilty that he didn't approach his girlfriend about his situation yet, his excuse for it was that he simply didn't want her exposed to his ugly side.
the side that would make her afraid of him.
so carelessly, he went to the alternative, the alternative that theo nor y/n would approve of.
kotku.
she sat in a gloomy corner of the alley, her legs stretched over a plastic chair she rested on while her hair carelessly flowed from her head down to her slender shoulders. she smirked at the appearance of boris which caused him to feel a sudden feeling of regret--- but he was already too late.
by this time kotku had her arm around his neck, her face merely inches away from his. boris rolled her eyes at her, stepping away from her grip. "i should not have come," he said turning away from her. kotku placed her hand softly on his shoulder, causing him to turn back to her.
"but you're already here," she replied. "what do i do the honors?"
"i am of need...of friend," he said hesitantly. "my father came back."
kotku's eyes widened at his words as the feeling of sympathy feel over her. "when?"
"just while ago," he said sadly. water began to well up in his eyes and his breath hitched. kotku felt sorry for him-- she hugged him and rubbed his back reassuringly. boris pulled away to say 'thank you' but did not break his gaze at her. carelessly, and in the moment, his lips could be found on kotku's own for seconds, before reality hit him.
"t-that was not supposed to happen," he said quickly while stepping back from kotku. in fear and in guilt, he ran down the alley that he entered, wiping tears away as kotku called for him from behind.
