Lavender and I talked and laughed for a while, despite the fact that the only think we shared was a tragic, life altering accident, we got along swimmingly.
She was incredibly sarcastic, And had a rather snarky attitude as well, I was well matched. We talked about school, family, music and some other things before the nurse took her away. Lavender complained loudly about her room being boring, But the nurse wouldn't have it. Lavender asked if she could at least have my number so we could text from different rooms, so we did that instead of having the nurse breathing down our necks.
I smiled as she texted me, "The nurse just threatened me with laxatives because I didn't want to take my medication!"
I was ready to reply, when my doctor came in. I put down the phone and looked up. He was followed by my family, all of them stood awkwardly and stared at my stump. I was about to open my mouth, when I realized that Lissy wasn't there.
