I try to throw away the stupid excuse of a memory box, but I can't. It's the only link to who I was. I sink down into the snow of Antarctica, wishing Victoria was here with me. No. You idiot. She doesn't love you. Leave...leave her be.
I stop the winds around me, shortening them to a calm breeze. I came here thinking I might forget it all... I was wrong.
"They never believe in you...I tried to show you that, but I understand."
I turn to see Pitch just yards away. I shoot at him.
" YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING! "
He retaliates by blocking my shots.
"OF COURSE I DO! I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE CAST OUT, TO NOT BE BELIEVED IN!"
I fly up and attack from above coming down on him with everything, snow, wind, and ice. Black sand and ice bust every which way. It clears, but he's not in sight, until I hear him behind me.
"To long for...love, and a family. "
I turn around knowing it's no use trying to attack him, and put the tooth box in my pocket. What is he trying to pull now?
"All my life in those shadows I thought no one else knows what this feels like, but know I see I was wrong."
"You say that yet your left Victoria to rot in the same life."
I snap back.
"Oh Victoria. She....she can't love Jack...but I can convince her to, for you. She's very much in denial, and from what I can see, she's already left you, even though a blind man can see she cares."
I try to relent, but it's true she is gone.
"We don't have to be alone Jack. I believe in you and I know children will too! I mean just think..."
He gestures behind me, where a huge, spiked, and frozen after math of our combustion stands.
"What goes better together than cold and dark! And if we play our cards right everything! Everything will be-"
"Pitch Black?"
"And Jack Frost too... And, as I said before. We find where ever the little garden lover went and convince her too. What do you say?"
He holds out his hand, expecting me to just join him. I look at it, then back at him.
"Wow, you really expect me to just join you?? I would rather die."
I turn around to leave.
"Now for the last time, leave me alone."
I start to walk away, before I hear something that makes my stomach drop.
"I didn't want to have to this but..."
I hear her... quickly I turn around. No. She's tied up in ropes of sand, but her wings... HE CUT THEM OFF. I aim my staff to get a good shot at the basturd.
"LET HER GO!!"
He ignores my response.
"Guess who I found begging for me to take her... Well of course for you and those twonks sake."
Her face is streaked with fresh and old tears. Dear God. She said she didn't care so I wouldn't follow her.
"DONT LISTEN TO HIM-"
She gasps as he pulls her hair back hard. I stand my ground, one mess up and they'll disappear, but my rage burns inside me with no end.
"I have to say I rather enjoyed her company."
He kisses her neck slowly once...Im goING TO MURDER HIM. He continues.
"Of course virgins aren't really used to my kind of passion."
THATS IT. I blast at him, but of course their gone. My face burns with anger, when he appears again to my left.
"Why are you getting so flustered Jack? You couldn't give her anything. You've always destroyed her beautiful nature with your frozen waste land-"
Victoria struggles as hard as she can against him.
"HES WRONG...YOU MAKE NATURE MORE BEAUTIFUL...WITHOUT YOU...NATURE IS NOTHING!!"
He tries to wrap his arms around her, but she throws her head back, and smacks him, knocking her lose from his grip. She runs sloppily towards me, arms still clamped in sand, I fly to her, but as soon as I reach her, she whispers.
"Fly."
Pitch then drags her back to him with another rope. He stomps on her back once. Her scream makes the thunder exploding above us sound like kittens. DEAR GOD HANG IN THERE!
" Now that's enough of that!"
He swipes his hand around her face her cries fade into an orb that he absorbs in his skin.
She blacks out. Good, she couldn't bare the pain if she was awake. He holds her up with one arm, on her knees, as her head rolls to the side, unconscious.
"The staff Jack! Give it to me, and I'll let her go."
I barley hesitate, I hand it to him.
"Ok. Now give her to me."
I demand. He smiles smugly at me, and thinks for a moment.
"No. You wanted to be alone. So be alone!"
At that moment baby tooth flies out from under Victoria's hair and pecks as hard as she can at his face. He lets her go, I try to reach her, but he blasts her against an ice wall behind me. She falls into a deep crater.
"VICTORIA!"
I run to see if she's ok, then a sudden pain on my backside causes everything to fade.... I black out.
