Chapter 2

A year after the news of their disbandment came, the CEO of the company came in greeting all seven girls.

" Stop the music, I have good news, fantastic, wonderful exciting news. "

The girls stopped practicing, panting, arms on their hips, they looked at the CEO. At this point the girls don't really know if he really had good news because they just got back from a slump. A huge, long one.

" Let me introduce you to your two new group mates, Gahyeon and Handong ! You girls don't have much time left so please get along, the company is planning your debut, its in discussion, don't give up girls ! "

The five girls in the practice room's jaw dropped.

D...debut ?

They wished they were dreaming, they pinched themselves to see if they were asleep, it wasn't a nightmare that plays with them every night.

It was real.

The two shy girls on the other hand held hands as they were a little intimidated by the older girls but nonetheless they introduced themselves.

" H...hello, I'm Gahyeon, Lee Gahyeon. I'm born in 1999, please treat me well. "

Gahyeon ended her intro with a respectful 90 degree bow. Then it was time for Handong.

" Hi, I'm Handong. I'm a foreigner so my korean might not be good, but I'm hard working and I'm willing to learn, please take care of me. "

The five girls looked at each other and smiled. It was the first time in a while aside from Yoohyeon's weekly clumsiness. It was announced that JiU would still be the leader so she stepped forward, wiping the sweat from her hand, she extended her arm out for a handshake which the girls took. After the older members introduced themselves, they decided to sit down and talk to get to know more about each other. When an hour passed, their manager walked in to tell all the girls to pack up, they were going to move to a bigger dorm.

As you can guess, the moving and packing took quite a while but they with the seven of them helping each other out, they completed most parts and were ready to move.

After unpacking and deciding on the roomings, they went back to the dance studio, they all had the same goals, so of course practicing was one of the things that mattered now. However, JiU remained indifferent during practice, she would be strict, too strict and sometimes it caused unnecessary tension which would make JiU and Siyeon fight at times because Siyeon would have some difficulty in practicing dance but nothing time can't do. Even Sua would side with Siyeon which always turns into a disaster.

That was when JiU could not take it. After practice, she was the first to leave the dance studio, it was already unusual of her to do so. After that, she didn't go home, no, she made her way to a pub, more of a nightclub to be exact, she was ordering, drink after drink after drink, no one could stop her, pretty girls would try to dance with her which JiU didn't mind, she had a lot on her mind and having a little fun would distract her for a while. Not until she felt a firm tug pulling her away from a girl she was grinding on.

" Minji, get your act together ! You're the leader for goodness sake, I don't have to take care of you, you are a grown up, a mature lady and I know that. "

" Bora, I'm not in the mood riiiiiiight now... "

" Look, everyone's worrying about you, everyone has been trying to call you. Go back home now, before I call the manager. "

Minji looked at Bora, then at the girl, then at the door. She huffed as she dragged her feet towards the door. She was sober enough to remember the route home and when she came back, Yoohyeon and Siyeon stood up on their feet from the sofa as they welcomed Bora and Minji. Bora was in Siyeon's arms while Yoohyeon embraced the older one.

" Thank goodness, you're safe. I was worried. "

Minji did not say anything. She was stoning out. She wasn't thinking, she was tired and it was written all over her face. Yoohyeon could tell as she saw the older one's eye lid start to drop.

" Hey hey, let's go to your bed, we can wash up tomorrow morning alright ? Don't be too hard on yourself, we will talk about this tomorrow when you are feeling better. "

Minji nodded before Yoohyeon helped her into bed and tucked her in. When Yoohyeon had heard the soft and slow breathing coming out from Minji, she smiled as she turned off the lights and went to her own bed.

The next day, Minji was called into the CEO's office.

" Minji, are you okay ? "

" Yes sir, I am. Why do you ask ? "

" You seem troubled. "

" I'm... "

Minji paused, she didn't know whether she wanted to speak her mind. Her CEO was really nice and a really great person. She could trust him.

" If you don't want to speak to me about the issue, you could talk to the director. "

" It's fine, I can talk to you. "

" Okay, go on. "

" I just, I want everything to go right for them, we already failed once, and it broke all of us. I want that to be our last disbandment, no more. It took Siyeon a lot of effort to start singing, it took Bora everything in her to love dancing. I don't want to let them down. I'm willing to do whatever it takes for us to succeed, to achieve our dream, to make music, to sing for what we believe in. "

" Is that why you have been so stressed ? "

" I guess ? I don't know... "

" Minji, you're having too many expectations on yourself, it's no wonder you're so worked up. You're not alone Minji. "

Minji looked at the CEO who was flashing a fatherly smile, it felt warm. Minji nodded before going back to the dance studio. She was reflecting and trying to remember what the CEO had encouraged her. Debut day is coming soon, she wants to make this right. So as soon as she sees the girls practicing, she sits to observe for a while before coming up with a decision.

" We'll stop practice for today, let's go and eat some barbeque. "

Everyone couldn't believe their ears, they thought Minji was pranking them, but April's fool was still far. She grabs her coat as she turns off some of the lights.

" Well, what are you waiting for ? "

The girls didn't need to be told twice before they cleaned themselves with their towels and packed up, all ready to go for dinner.
