Athena was the first to speak up; "Aphrodite... are you sure that was a blessing and not a spell to add a pink dove to her forehead?" I breathed a sigh of relief. Good. She didn't doll me up. I didn't want to have a makeup-caked face all day.

"Yes, Athena!" Aphrodite beamed. "You can't see any visible changes, except for the mark to show that she has my blessing since she's already so adorable, but she did gain a new skill. Now she has charm speak! Oh, and she will have excellent fashion sense, including being able to tell the different shades of colors and how they match."

"Well, I'm glad you didn't turn my daughter into a doll, but you should have asked me for permission first." My father huffed, mock glaring at her. Hestia interrupted, tapping him on the shoulder.

"Brother, may I bless my niece as well?" She asked, glancing at me. "I can feel how much you adore her right now, and I can tell that she would be able to give the same affection back when she is older."

Poseidon's eyes lit up. "Of course, sister! Will she really accept me in the future?" Hestia smiled and nodded, then carefully lifted me from my father's arms. Again, the warmth swept through me. however, the color was different. It was orange, like the hearth. Wait. How can I see colors now? Maybe it was from fashion sense skill?

"Why are you all blessing that sea brat!" Zeus boomed. "We should kill her now before she can end us!" Poseidon immediately tensed and summoned his trident.

"Father, I think we should wait and observe." I looked over to Athena, surprised that she was on my side. "This way, if she even thinks of rebelling, we would be able to exterminate her immediately." Never mind. I take back what I said.

"Oh, come on! Just leave the kid be or kill her! I don't need another brat to look after!" Well. Guess Dionysus isn't going to like me any time soon. At least he hasn't found a variation to my name yet.

"You will not kill my daughter!" Father was raging now. Probably angry at how they were discussing his only daughter so dismissively. I look around the room, doing the best baby seal eyes I could, trying to move some Gods and Goddesses to my side. I mean... no one could resist Percy's baby seal eyes... and we do have the same godly parent.

Aphrodite cooed at me. "Well, I, for one, will not be involved in killing such a cute baby!" She squealed the last part. Ok, I think she's exaggerating, but if it goes in my favor... sure.

Demeter huffed. "If you promise that she will eat cereal every day, then I'll vote for you and give your daughter my blessing too. Well?" She questioned Poseidon. He blinked, then nodded his head quickly.

Hestia passed me to Demeter, and she pressed her finger to mine. This time, the glow was forest green.

"I said, stop blessing the brat!" Zeus yelled. Demeter rolled her eyes, and passed me back to my father, then went back to her throne. "Now," Zeus said, "We shall vote on what to do with the brat. Put your hand up if you agree for execution!"

No one moved, except for Zeus. He looked annoyed but continued. "Alright. Raise your hand if you agree with surveillance!" Everyone put their hands up, except for my father and the three Goddesses who blessed me. "Well, looks like your daughter is going to be put under watch, brother." He said smugly, now that I won't be getting off without conditions.

"Very well," my father growled, knowing that the matter was closed. "But I request to be able to visit her. At least until she turns one."

Zeus rolled his eyes. "Fine! Not like she'll remember anyway. Meeting's over!" Everyone flashed out with me closing my eyes. Looks like no one remembered or cared enough to watch out for the demigod in the room. Poseidon sighed and flashed us back to our home.
