Sorry this chapter is kinda short. I'm only writing two more after this one and Invaded will be completed.

We marched upon the location of the Mother Ship. We trailed from tree to tree, Gajeel and I worked in sync, checking our surroundings. We covered each other as we advanced.

An enemy shot rang out and hit a guy I didn't know, arm shot. I rolled from behind my cover firing shots. The enemy dropped to the ground. I blew the smoke from my pistols. Gajeel pulled me back behind the tree and into his chest.

"You're crazy, Shorty." He whispered against my ear

"All clear" called Erza and we proceeded on the mission. Our count is 59, 59 trained to kill revolutionaries. We were going to take our world back and no one could stop us. Not even alien scum.

Alien after alien we fought our way to the mothership. I took a grenade from my belt pressed the activation button and tossed it to the doorway of the mother ship. The door blew inward with a burst of light and a controlled explosion.

The frontline rushed into the ship scanning the area. Erza waved us in, it's clear. I ran into the ship with Gajeel on my heels. Our people made their way around the ship killing anything that moved. Gajeel and I stepped into a large room coated in technology.

The entire ship shook as it shifted off of the ground. Gajeel lay a hand on my shoulder steading me. I looked at a screen that showed the ship rising slowly. I turned my head to the right to find a red alien floating in a cylinder of goo. I trained my guns on the thing glancing down at the glass floor. Gajeel squeezed my shoulder and I dropped my guns to my side.

I sent him a glare and he made his way over to the alien tech. He ran his hands over screen after screen and I watched as they flickered on. The fluorescent lights gave the room an eerie glow. I watched as Gajeel pressed a few buttons and I felt the ship start to lower again.

"Do it now." He said and I raised my guns and with a bang, glass exploded everywhere. A terrifying roar came out of the thing shattering the glass beneath me. I was stable one moment, and now I was plummeting to the ground. An explosion pushed me further out of the ship. My hearing went silent as the ship started falling after me.

It sped up and I was flying upward into the ceiling of the room. My head colored sharply with the ceiling and my vision went black.
