I hate goodbyes because I just do, I hate them because it means you are gone
Not even farewell or I bid you adieu, like seeing a sunset at dawn
Saying goodbye means you left my life, and though it may be true
There will be no time, no second that goes by when I won't be thinking of you
The days we had together, and the chances that we saw were gone
The storms we had to wether, and the victories we all won
I hate goodbyes because it means to let go
I prefer a comforting lie, a place where time won't flow
Just one moment, one scene that is played on repeat
As my house fills with rodents, just like the sewers of the streets
Everything stays the same, and we're all back together
The world will be kept on replay, and all will be the same forever
