The Offer

Bright lights coming from the vanity table strike as soon as the room was entered by a tall, skinny boy wearing in white blouse and brown trousers. His black sneakers took few steps to reach the lass sitting across the shoned table. A light kiss landed on the lady's cheek as the boy spoke, "You ready, babe?"

Aleeza grinned sweetly at him through the mirror. Her angelic face made his heart thumped. "I think I am. Do I look okay?" She ask worriedly while checking her own reflection. She even stands up to check her black fitted strap dress ending just above her knees. "Do I look uncomfortably bloated?"

"What do you mean, 'okay' and 'bloated?'" he paused, chuckle, and kissed her head before continuing, "You are absolutely gorgeous, Alee. Just a flip of your hair, you'll make everyone fall." Jave said that with all sweetness he can muster making Aleeza blushed.

Jave stared at his girlfriend with a thought about bringing her in Roller's Hub, because she pleaded for it. Apparently, Aleeza is currently joined in Dumstrict Side. This must cause minimal problem, but he thinks he can handle it. He had a rank, after all. She was silent for a while and smiling widely so he took it as an opportunity to speak.

"Now, Alee, listen. Stick with me no matter what happen, alright? RH is a bit, uh, troublesome." He manage to say, although he cannot find the right words to utter. Alee frowned at this, but nod afterwards, Jave is her boyfriend so she thought about it just fine. Besides, she hadn't been in her boyfriend's clan so maybe to be warned is a must. "Yes babe, I will."

JAVE and Aleeza, holding each other's hand, pave their way straight to the entrance leading inside the Roller's Hub. There's a lookout, guarding the door and checking people who wants to enter. Jave greeted Harris, the lookout, and walked ahead. Unfortunately, Harris noticed the unfamiliar face of Aleeza, causing them to stop on their tracks. "You don't belong in RH, do you?"

The girl struggle to answer but Jave had spoken, "I invited her with me, Harris." His hand tightened against Aleeza's fingers. He was nervous.

"Two DMs, this night. I don't think the admin will be cool about it. Anyway.." Harris told them after a disappointed shrug and click on somewhat a device making the large sound-proof door opened.

The loud booming sounds vibrates along with their heartbeats as soon as the door had swung open. Neon purple and violet lights dance through dim figures of Rollers swaying along the music. Jave took a seat, far away from the crowded places so they won't really be exposed. Aleeza tried to get their drinks but Jave stopped her and told he'll get them himself. Aleeza didn't argue, so he set off.

Dumstrict Side and Roller's Hub is a separated clans here in NCU, an exclusive university. RH is ahead of DS in terms of whatsoever, the reason of both groups' rivalry. Jave isn't so sure about his rank's safety because of his girlfriend. Having so much closure towards DMs is somehow against the rules which will earn him a punishment of rank down.

And just right now, he had brought his girlfriend here--in their party--where all the Rollers might notice her.

A sigh escaped his lips as he thought about it like a heavy luggage inside his head. His parents would definitely not like it if his rank gets down. These thoughts had gone for a moment when a familiar voice called his name, "Jave Harry! Man! What's up?" It was Lance, red cup on his hand.

"Dude. Think I'm in trouble." Jave let out a nervous laugh which made Lance smirked. Both of them lean on the railings, Jave waiting for their drinks on the counter and Lance just cooling. "That's a real problem. Why, in the first place, you bring her here? You know the rules perfectly well, Mr. Fifth ranker."

Jave snorted, thinking how fast Harris was in informing the admin (which Lance is one of them) before answering, "She wouldn't let me go unless she tagged along."
