"Where the heck is my stupid necktie!?" Stacey muttered angrily after looking inside her wardrobe. Her bronze chain bracelet with a dangling letters F and G sway as her arms wringed. Zachandrea had gone out of their dorm first, since their gang have an early meeting again before class starts so Leanne was left again with Stacey. "You don't go look inside a wardrobe, dumbo. Go search in your drawers!"
Pulling her hair in annoyance, Stacey stomped her feet stubbornly. Her messy hair splashing onto her face. Leanne shook her head in disappointment as she looked at her friend. Unlike her who was already in full uniform, Stacey is still not wearing her necktie. Her bare right foot stomped against the floor, navy blue coat still unbuttoned. "Fucking bitch, you did notice you're actually wasting my time. Haven't you?"
After several minutes of trashtalking, they finally get out from their shared dorm. Among any other students, three of them are the only ones who were allowed to share one dorm. Leanne had dyed her hair into blonde so it is expected for others to turn their heads at them as they walked by, especially to boys. Of course, Leanne as being the play girl, loves the attention she's getting. "Yeah, go on stupid assholes, drool on me."
Stacey pushed her side a bit harsh and scowled, "Shut up, they might hear you. We're all good influencers and famous here, mind you." Leanne had to roll her eyes at what Stacey did and said to her.
Both of them crossed paths with Zachandrea on their way to their classes, which made Stacey feel relieved. Although they have separate classrooms, they've decided to follow the main stairs, again, they are the Bitches' Angels. They had to be one of the centers of attraction. Zach's complaining ass stirred up again, "This is time-wasting. My classroom's on the far left side of the building, and I could have just walk the staircase there!"
Leanne rolled her eyes, "What's the matter with you, really Zach? You seem to be so cocky about everything. Would you like to leave the squad?"
Stacey and Zach's head turned at her abruptly as if they just heard the most hilarious thing on Earth. Then Stacey scoffed, "Are you mad? No way in hell Bitches' Angels will be destroyed." Zachandrea agreed with Stacey and had stuck her tongue towards Leanne.
"Look, they're here!"
"First ranker had her hair dyed blonde, it looked good on her!"
"Bro, she's have the silver chain. Told you, you can't reach her."
"Lucky of him who got the bronze chain!"
Noises instantly dropped against Bitches' Angels when they step on that enormous main staircase. Students are craning their necks to take a glimpse at them. The moment Stacey, Leanne and Zachandrea reached the final step, crowd began to split into two, giving them way. Three of them walk straight in between the crowd with full smiling faces but only Leanne has the genuine one.
"MINE is orange, how about you Gian?" Nathan asked as soon as the Bitches' Angels are out of earshot. Gian was smirking, gripping the chain he received this morning inside his pocket, as he stared at the hallway where his partner had walk and murmured, "I'm lucky."
Nathan heard him say that and with a frown on his face he asked, "What do you mean?" Nathan followed his friend's gaze and clasp his hand towards his mouth, "Don't tell me..."
Still having the wide smirk on his face, Gian slowly fished out the chain from his pocket and swayed it in front of Nathan's shocked face. A dashing bronze chain dance in mid air sending him in amusement. How could his newbie friend become so lucky being partnered with one of the Bitches' Angels? "Bro, you're wicked!"
Their conversation must reach other students, because they had formed a sudden circle caging the boys in to confirm if Gian really got a bronze chain. They now have the crowd's attention by accident. Gian and Nathan had to look for a good excuse to escape away from their paparazzi questions. "Classes is about to start, we need to go. Sorry."
Squeezing their way out, Nathan had a smile of triumph as they pave the hallway, "Well, I must say you got yourself a bit famous already." Gian unbuttoned his coat to adjust from heat as he listened to his friend. "But I must say, be careful. Stacey is not an easy chick."
"Thanks for informing me, bud. She may not be the easy chick," Gian paused for a while to buttoned his coat again and continued, "But for me, this game's a piece of cake."
ZACH'S phone interrupted her from listening to their gang master, Perry. She let out a relieved sigh, her phone saved her from listening to Perry the bullshit. Zach hated Perry, though, for calling a meeting every two hours.
"Sir Lance app, psh." She read under her breath putting up a blank face. Her fingers jabbed onto the phone and read the instructions of the said app which had automatically install itself on her phone. It said every players shall known their partners already within this day and if not achieved, five hundred points will be deducted from their data.
Zach lazily scratch her neck and turn her gaze towards her wrist wearing a silver chain with dangling F and G. She feel so irritated and tired just to think of finding her supposed partner in every corner in the NCU campus. Never been in her life she's so fucked up until this happened. First, she can't say no because her friends valued their squad's title as so as she. Second, she had to keep her rank so that she'll never have to get back to their house. Zach had thought unfairly of Stacey being in favor with this crap, the reason why she had agreed on it. Among the three of them, Stacey is the only one who won't worry about ranking. Only Zach and Leanne had themselves in rank.
"Stanford, are you even listening to me? Just because you're in the famous squad doesn't mean you can ignore me here." Perry was trying to get above Zach, it was obvious on her tone. Zach is trying hard not to talk but Perry continues, "Bet you can't fight for yourself without Bitches' Angels by your side that's why you joined here."
"Oh, yeah?" Zach started with a nasty grin on her face, she even lift up her both legs on a chair in front of her. "At least I only have two back ups. Unlike you, who needs to create a battalion just for everyone to back off away from you. What a cry baby."
Perry, fuming mad, was about to utter her rebuttal but Zach was already walking out from the office. She won't waste a time for such bullshit. Walking along the empty corridor, the sun from afar already setting. Zach spotted Lance leaning against the wall at the end of the corridor, his hand had a phone. Must be done sending the task to every players. She was about to turn left when she noticed the glint of lights coming from his wrist. Getting curious, she squinted her eyes to examined the bracelet even more. Couldn't it be something--no, way.
Lance had the silver chain.
ON the other hand, while everybody's long gone out from the campus, Leanne is still sitting on a desk inside their classroom. Ten to fifteen boys are either sitting or standing around her. She kept on boasting about her being one of the players in Lance's event. "Maybe my partner will soon be my future man, what do you think?"
Boys grunted and utter their complains, "Please don't. We want you to be single forever." This had made Leanne snort hilariously, when all of them agreed on it. Wishing for her to not get married? These boys are mad. "I know I'm the greatest prize but, hell, don't wish for me not to get married. Might as well try your utmost luck on me than that. Right?"
"So who's your partner, then?" A boy standing behind her asked. Leanne sat still, suppress a smirk while shaking her head and say, "D'you want a piece of me? Anyone of you who can bring me my partner will receive something from me."
And like a next button being pressed, they all hurried out of the room. Leanne chuckled in amusement, thinking how boys are just so easy to control. She was staring at the door the boys had just walked out when her phone vibrates. A message from unknown popped. Leanne was about to delete it but the word "partner" on it stopped her from doing so. Her eyes squinted at the message and read it aloud, "Jave Harry is your partner. Dustin is my name.." her voice trailed off as she wander on her thoughts.
Jave Harry.. you mean the fifth ranker. This would be interesting.
