Everything was perfect for Jave; pissing off Stacey multiple times, making his best friend Zach so happy, and getting to know Leanne's relationship with Clarence, not until afternoon came around the clock. Lance walked into the house dragging two people from Dumstrict Side saying that they are his friends. Of course Jave will panic. His girlfriend Aleeza is right here in front of him. However, Aleeza seemed to be so calm and energetic smiling widely to everyone she sees, "Hello guys!"
Lance, smiling widely as well, cleared his throat, "Well guys, this is Aleeza and Azzi. Both came from Dumstrict Side."
"Dumstrict Side?" asked Zach, eyeing Azusa and Aleeza, "What about the rules?"
"Don't worry," answered the petite and small girl with short silky hair beside Lance, "My dad's been tryin' to dump the rule out, been suggesting to the head administrator for ages. It's better to make friends than to have rivals, isn't it?" Azusa smiled at Zachandrea who just stared at her with no emotion in her face and just nods. Whatever, thought Zachandrea.
"That's great! At least I and Jave won't be dating in secret anymore," commented Aleeza while giggling before hooking her arms to Jave's. Stacey on the other side, looked at Aleeza from head to toe. She's not informed about Jave's girlfriend, how come she didn't know? And why the hell would she care to know, by the way? Stacey slowly shake her head with disbelieving snort which Jave had seen since he's looking at Stacey's reaction too. Jave can't either understand why he's being worried towards Stacey all of a sudden. A minute of silence covered them and Leanne decided to break it, suggesting to buy something to eat outside, "I'm bringing Clarence here as well. The more, the merrier," she said before walking out.
Copying Leanne, Stacey walk out from the living room too and headed to the kitchen while calling back at them, "Feel at home! Touch everything, except the fridge. It's strictly out of bounds." She continued walking until she finally rached the kitchen sink. Stacey shut her eyes tightly and inhaled deeply. Her hands unconsciously clutching her chest. Jave having a girlfriend is just normal, should be normal for Stacey to know, but she can't accept that fact. She want to cry but she just...couldn't. And she didn't know why. Stacey just decided to ignore whatever she feel inside her chest and opened the fridge to get some oranges. She was about to went out of the kitchen, hands full of oranges, when she spotted Jave standing in the door, obviously blocking the way. He had this look of worry and regret and pity. Stacey frowned at him, "What are you looking at? Move." She tried to shove Jave away but he won't budge moving causing Stacey to stomp her feet in great annoyance, "I SAID, MOVE! DIDN'T YOU HEAR M---"
But Jave suddenly pulled Stacey into a hug, making her stopped from talking. Stacey froze for a moment, blinking her eyes continuously and her heart seemed to stop functioning. His presence bring chills to Stacey's spine, and her belly's in a great somersault of butterflies. And then it hit her, Jave's girlfriend might see them hugging so she immediately pushed him away and said, "What was that---"
"I'm sorry, Stacey," continued Jave, "If ever I am hurting you this way." He tried moving forward but Stacey took a step, backing away from him and answered, "What do you mean hurting me this way? You're not hurting me, okay? I'm not jealous."
"But I didn't say you're jealous," chuckled Jave making Stacey's face heated, then he continued, "You're being obvious, Stacey." She pursed her lips and looked away as she remember the time when Leanne told her that she will eventually fall for Jave. Is Leanne's prediction happening already?
"CLARENCE is your boyfriend? No way. I'm never seeing you with that guy at least for once." said Zachandrea as the Bitches' Angels gathered in Leanne's room while the others are having a good time in the living room. Stacey looked like a troubled woman with eight children, sitting on Leanne's bed, before saying effortlessly, "Yeah, me too."
Leanne stopped rummaging her wardrobe to rolled her eyes at them before speaking, "We were dating secretly, because our Stacey here is mental. Just look at Jave, for example."
"Leanne," called Zach with her deadpan look, "You should've told us. We're your friends."
"Yeah and I did," answered Leanne, turning to her wardrobe again.
"When?"
"Just now. Hey, Stacey are you sick? What's the matter?" Leanne had diverted the subject into Stacey, making Zach rolled her eyes and wringed her hands in air because of Leanne's sarcasm. Stacey shook her head and it was almost good enough but Zach caught her wiping her eyes. Zach nudged Leanne and whispered, "She's crying, look."
Stacey sniff and let out a silent sob guaranteeing Zach and Leanne that she was really crying. She looked up and when she realized that her friends are looking, her sobs bursts out. Leanne and Zach took a moment to look at each other, and by the way they look, they knew something but they weren't so sure. Zach picked up the orange on the bed and peeled it off while Leanne sat beside her, "Tell us what's wrong."
Stacey began telling her rants about how she doesn't like Jave's guts, how sure she was not to get in love with him and how confusing it was when Jave told her those words earlier, "Am I obvious? I mean, hey, I don't like him, but really, am I obvio--"
"Oh shut up, Stace," said Leanne as she looked at Zach signalling her to give the oranges to her, "You like him, period."
"Yeah," agreed Zach, smirking at Stacey, "Eat this and tell it to him."
"N-no!" Stacey struggled to speak as Zach stuffed her mouth with oranges, "He's got a girlfriend." Leanne and Zachandrea made a sympathetic sound, "Aww, too bad for you Stace."
"I heard you back at the kitchen and I can tell, base on Jave's tone, that he likes you too," Leanne informed, "Why not try your luck, though?"
That sounds so stupid for Stacey and was about to talk when a knock on the door made her wipe her eyes frantically. Clarence emerged from the door and give everyone a warm smile, "Can I excuse Leanne?" Zach rolled her eyes and sat beside Stacey before looking at Leanne who's currently giggling and stopping herself to flush, then asked him, "What for?"
"I got her a gift," said Clarence showing his white perfect teeth even more, "I wanna give it privately." He put his hand inside his pocket which made Stacey gasped and say, "What, are you going to propose already? No, Leanne's too young for that--!"
"Stacey!" exclaimed Leanne, throwing flats to her friend, "What the hell are you saying!" Leanne's cheeks are now red and Clarence couldn't resist the cuteness but to stifle a laugh and blurted out, "Come on, love. It's in the balcony."
Zach and Stacey stayed in the room for the couple of hours after Leanne's gone with Clarence. After few attempts of crying again, Stacey decided to go out with Zach instead. Crying won't give her such relief. They had seen Aleeza and Azusa playing Jave's cat on the floor, while Lance and Jave are playing video games. Stacey huffed as she sat on the couch and crossed her arms. Zach, on the other hand, went straight to the kitchen to get her ice cream.
"Now, what?" whispered Stacey. She eyed Aleeza dangerously. She honestly want to fight her but Aleeza was so freaking nice as an angel, Stacey will just look as the bad evil witch.
"I've texted Jave," said Zachandrea, emerging from Stacey's side, "Told him to get rid of Aleeza for a while, so you can solo him."
"Solo him!?" hissed Stacey, "What do you mean, 'solo him?' I don't wanna!"
"Yeah," said Zach, blowing her nose, "And just kill yourself with so much overthinking. Stacey, don't you want to clear everything? I'm doing you a favor, you know."
Stacey opened her mouth, and closed it again. She turned to glance at Jave, seriously playing, and think of it again. Confessing feelings to someone who's currently in a relationship is so, so stupid. Stacey knew that if she did it, she'll be branded a stupid selfish brat, relationship-wrecker bitch, and absolutely evil. Whatever, she'll gonna do everything just for her to feel problem-free.
