"Then he said he want some points, guess what he did! He freaking kiss me here!" Stacey, pertaining to Gian, was screaming non-stop in Zachandrea's face, tapping her right cheek. It was a sunny Saturday, almost a week have passed since Lance's falling game started. Zach must admit that she was lucky, her partner is Lance himself. He's the game master. However, she was worried too because her closure with Lance are getting deeper than it was. Her thoughts puffed into smoke when Stacey throw the gossip magazine she's been clutching aiming at her face, "What the hell?"
"'What the hell' your face. You're not listening to me!" Stacey roared, her eyes forming into thin slits. "Must been thinking about seeing Lance this night, are you!?" Zachandrea had to take a gulp on that one and took away her eyes from Stacey. Is she that obvious?
"No way. I hate him." She manage to say without stuttering. That was a lie. He liked being with Lance, a lot. She even started again remembering how his attention falls only to her whenever they are dating. It was just a game, but it felt real for Zachandrea.
"Good, then. I hate Leanne's partner too. Full shit. Boastful. Snob..." Stacey never stopped talking and Zachandrea tried so much to keep her ears fine with her friend's bombarding voice.
It was as if the clock had jumped into six o'clock in the evening. The players was gathered again in the same room where they firstly met their partners although it's weekend and they must stay inside their dormitories. Zachandrea, as always, was stucked between Lance's side and grip. She was treated like a piece of treasure by the boy. Then he spoke, "Where's your friends?"
She blinked the mesmerizing moment towards Lance before shrugging her shoulders, not uttering a single word. Along with this, she thought about not being able to see Leanne since she opened her eyes earlier this morning. Where was she at all this day? It's as if on cue, Jave came up bustling through the room's door. Gian and Nathan both snorted at the sight, Jave didn't noticing it. He was in striking red knitted sweater and black pair of jeans. His white sneakers caked with thick mud and his hair dripping with somewhat a transparent slime. If someone will take a look over his head, they'll know Jave was hit by eggs because of yellow circles on top of his hair.
"What happened to... you?" Zachandrea asked lowly, her mouth slightly parted. Jave had stop walking in front of Clarence who's sitting on the floor, clinging to him was Ara, his partner.
Jave tried not to speak, but the boiling turmoil inside him is burning that it exploded along with his tone, "I SHOULD BE THE ONE WHO'S ASKIN' THAT QUESTION! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPEN TO YOUR IDIOT FRIEND SHE MADE ME LOOK LIKE THIS!?" His shrilling voice echoed across every corner of the room. All of humane sounds, except Jave's heavy breathing, shrunken down. Zachandrea, however, was trying her utmost luck on being friendly and managed to asked, "Who's she?"
Jave's eyes pierced at Zach's direction, his teeth brushing against each other and decided it is not right to pour out his outrage to an innocent kid. With a heavy exhale he answered, "Your friend Stacey."
Zachandrea opened her mouth but close it again. She's not sure what to say. It is Stacey they are talking about.
"Jave! Where's Jave--oh my, I swear I have no idea!" Leanne was shouting over her panting breath. She was chasing Jave from the dormitory building where the egg throwing thing happened. Jave had thought Leanne planning this with Stacey since his eyes saw her emerged from the side of the building but the truth was, she's out of the school campus to meet her mum and dad. Jave didn't even take a glance at Leanne and just slumped his body towards the corner of the room, across Clarence and Ara. Leanne followed him, rolls and rolls of tissues on both of her hands, "Here, let me wipe it out. I'm really sorry. Stacey's a bit rude.."
"A bit rude.. hah." Jave snorted sarcastically, letting Leanne wiped all the remnants of egg away from his face and sweater. He was glaring down at his muddy sneakers. "I didn't know how you two became friends with that idiot. You're both total opposite of her." Leanne didn't say a word and Zach looked at them down as if she also wanted to wipe those eggs out from Jave. A pang of guilt rumbling inside Zach's chest and belly. Jave seem to be cool and kind, he doesn't deserve this. She had thought of kicking Stacey's ass in revenge for Jave.
"I don't think we have enough time to wait for Stacey," Lance started as the silence followed after Jave and Leanne's arrival. Shuffling of movements began to stir up in the room. "Jave have to go back into his dorm so--"
"She got my dorm keys. She made sure I won't be able to change my clothes once she and her lot throw those fucking eggs on my head." Jave interrupted, as usual, gritting his teeth. Another wave of guilt washed Leanne and Zach's conscience. How far can their friend go? Zachandrea couldn't resist more and joined Leanne. "Let me help."
"Oh, right. So, okay, let me start this." Lance continued, a bit distracted about what Jave said. "We will be having a house for this falling game." This was followed with everyone's murmuring.
"A house? You mean, a house?" Gian asked stupidly. Lance had to let out a snort at him. "Yeah, a house.
"This house will be exclusively for the players only. I am not forcing all couples to stay in there, though. This is only for those players who really wants to be there." Lance explained more. Clarence shoot his hand up in the air, Lance nod at him. "Yes, dude?"
"Are we allowed to just visit there? I mean, when I want to make out with my partner? Something like that." Clarence's vulgarity make Leanne crumpled her face. She had imagine herself seeing two students having sex in the house's couch at the living room, so much disgusting.
"No, no, bud. That place isn't a sex den," Lance answered in between his laughs. Zachandrea stared at him with amusement. Lance never failed to prove how gentleman he is in Zachandrea's perspective. "I just thought of having a house for us so we won't need to meet here in this dusty room."
Lance beamed at everyone at the end of his announcement. Then he asked, "Any questions?" All of them, except Jave and Leanne shook their heads as an answer. "Alright then, you may go now lovebirds!"
Nathan and Gian was the last one to exit the room after the rest of the players except Jave's company while talking about staying the house. Nathan was disgusted at his partner who is always having a reason when he's asking for a kiss. He thought of her having a bad breath. Gian on the other hand was laughing at him and comparing how free he is at Stacey. "Maybe I could ask her to dance on my lap."
STACEY is never been so happy until this evening. Her revenge to Jave is successful. He had insulted her at the cafeteria before, so he absolutely deserve what she did. She was walking and jumping merrily across the corridor leading to their dorm when her phone buzzed against her shorts. She reads the message from Leanne under her breath, "You're a fucktard. Don't touch Jave again, or you'll going to face me... WHAT!?" Stacey stomped her feet in disgust. Leanne is obviously siding on that asshole! She couldn't believe it!
Another buzz interrupted her thoughts. This time, it is a message from Zachandrea which says; "Another offensive move of yours, and you won't be able to see a single orange in the fridge for a whole month. Got that!?"
Fuming mad, she holds her phone so tight it almost crushed in her hands and if she's not controlling herself, she had already thrown it onto the wall. She really couldn't believe it! They're already friends with that balding Jave!
