Hi Grian. I saw your message about someone new joining... I'll coming over to your base. Be over there in a few minutes!

It was finally happening.

Xisuma was coming over.

Grian instructed Lily to go hide at the top of his base first, while he and X were still talking. Yes, it would be cold, but it would also be quite worth it.

Because even though they were going into a slight revolution, Grian still wanted some dramatic effects. Such as, Lily gliding down to land in front of Xisuma.

So they did.

"Hey Grian!"

"Oh, hi X." Grian looked around awkwardly. "Um, so first of all, I'd like to tell you something..." He had no idea how to say it, though. "Not about the new player?" Xisuma looked confused. What would be more important than a new player breaking the whitelist?

"Well, you see, this leads up to the new player. She's, she's kind of like me. You see, I..." Grian trailed off, unsure. He decided to just go for it. "I have wings."

Saying so, he let his bright golden wings pop out. A few feathers fluttered down, like snow. Xisuma was shocked, to say the least.

"H-how??" He finally managed to stammer. Grian smiled a little, remembering his home. "It's a trait of my home server."

Grian whistled.

Something–no, someone–glided down from the top of Grian's mansion. For a second, they looked like a bird, gracefully circling above their heads a few times. But as they got closer, Xisuma could clearly see it was a girl.

Even Grian was shocked. He'd never seen the graceful side of Lily, only the competitive and desperate. They'd never done anything so... formal, for lack of a better word. But it was beautiful.

Lily smiled. "Hi, X."

"Uh, so this is the new player you were talking about, Grian?" Lily nodded. "B-but, the whitelist? How?" Xisuma was shocked yet again. The poor admin had so much hitting him at once.

"She was escaping from our home server, from our rulers," Grian explained. Lily took over from there. "Grian and I, our wing colors are rare. Different. Wing colors mean things, and so our rulers try and control the ones that could be dangerous.

"Grian's wings mean determination and forgiveness. Gold and copper. Others have specks of those colors, but never fully. Mine... silver means suffering, they say. And white means salvation, since I'm a warrior angel hybrid. Probably the only one," she added bitterly.

"Wait, so how are you two dangerous?" Xisuma questioned. He didn't get it. "Well, Grian over here, if he commits to something, he sees it through. If he got it into his head to lead a revolution..."

"Oh."

"And I would be the perfect weapon. I've been through a lot, I guess, and I could be spreading around what happened to me. Spreading Ideas." Lily sighed. "Ideas can be dangerous."

"Wait, so what's your home server?" Xisuma asked. He was bursting with questions, and it took all of his willpower to not ask them at once. Grian smiled softly, remembering his time there as a builder.

"Wynncraft."

"You mean, your server? The one you built? The one you co-own with Salted?" Xisuma would've never guessed. He never knew that there were actual people living inside of Wynncraft. He thought it was just an MMORPG server.

But... a rebellion against its rulers? They would be crushed, immediately.

All the servers had heard about the power of the admins of Wynncraft, and the rules that were in place. How could they even–

"Anyways, we have to do it. People like me are trapped in the dungeons, so many. Tens, if not hundreds. We have to get them out," Lily continued. "They're... they're one of us. I can't let them stay in there anymore."

She looked so sad.

So old, so knowing for her age.

~Time skip~

Lily took aim at the target. With barely a moment's hesitation, she let the arrow fly.

The redstone lamp lit up.

She nocked another arrow. The same thing happened.

Lily turned around, close to tears.

Three weeks had passed.

The hermits were training, and were showing no signs of heading to Wynncraft.

But she couldn't stand it anymore.

"Can we go yet?"

She felt so small. But she had to keep fighting, for her kind back home.

"I'll ask X, luv. But no promises. I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Stress. I'll ask myself." Lily walked across the room. "X... I'm sorry if I'm being a burden, but... I just can't stay here." Xisuma considered it.

She continued. "I've waited so long, at least it seems that way, and I can't let people like me suffer any longer. Please, if we're anywhere near ready, let us go."

Xisuma nodded, surprising Lily. "We'll go tonight."

She let out a breath, relieved. It was finally happening.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of arrows, armor and conversation. And when night fell, Lily was the first one up to the portal to Wynn.

As the Hermits left one of their own back in Hermitcraft to keep it safe, the last thing Bdubs saw was Lily's bright silver wings flashing.

Leading the fight.

And Grian was right up there with her.
