Chapter 16:The King

Y/N POV

After lunch, I told them I would be staying here and they approved. Taehyung decided to stay here with me. We all, except BTS gave him a weird look but let him anyway.

Right now, Im sitting on the bench in the backyard chatting with Ara. We were just talking about random stuff until she asked something that made me choked on my saliva.

"So, unnie, who's your mate?" I looked at her before hesitatingly answered.

"Umm...I don't know. Im not 18 yet. I'll turn 18 on my upcoming birthday and find him."

"Oh ok..."

Obviously, Im not gonna ask her the same thing. She's only 17 to be exact. We continued to talk about random stuff.

-Time skipped-

I laid on my bed ready to sleep until suddenly, a knock was heard at my door. I lazily got up to open the door. I was surprised to see Taehyung standing in front of me while scratching the back of his head.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" he asked nervously.

"Sure" I yawned while rubbing my eyes.

"Oh...maybe we'll talk tomorrow. You looked sleepy." he chuckled

"No, no. It's ok. Come in." I stepped aside.

When he got in, I closed the door and locked it. He sat on the bed, eyes glued to the floor while rubbing his hands together. I slowly walked over and sat beside him trying to grab his attention.

"What's wrong?" he finally turned to me. Nervousness was clearly seen in his eyes.

"Umm...how do I say this...I think you're not ready for this but...Y/N...you are my mate"

And that's all it took to make me froze and just stared at him blankly. I slowly trying to attach piece by piece about what he said. Me? His mate?

'As much as I want to make you believe, I can't. Im just your wolf. So, deal with it, girl' Nova said

"Y/N? Are you ok?" he waved his hand in front of my face making me snapped back to reality.

"What's wrong? Are you disappointed having me as your mate?" he frowned a bit.

"What? No, no! Of course not! Why would I be disappointed? Haha...I was just shocked, that's all." I smiled to reassure him. He sighed in relief.

"Wow...I can't believe my mate was with me since I came to that school." I chuckled. He rubbed his nape.

"Yeah. Sorry I couldn't tell you sooner." he said

"It's ok" I yawned again made him chuckled.

"Let's sleep" he also yawned

I was so sleepy that I didn't realize Tae laid beside me while wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer to his chest. Just like that, we fell sleep snuggling to each other for warmth.

-Next Day-

'CLICK'

"Did you get it? Let me see..." I heard a whisper after a clicking sound.

"Aww~ Look at them..." then more whispers.

"Consider you guys lucky for not waking me up for nothing"

"Oh come on, Yoongi! You don't wanna miss this! I mean...look at my babies!"

"Their not your babies, hyung!"

"I don't care..."

"Shut up..." a husky voice was heard and I knew who it was.

I open my eyes to be met with a sleeping beauty. Taehyung I mean. Wow, he looks so peaceful. And cute. I smiled until he mumbled
