Chapter 1: Flashback

Y/N's POV

The sound of the alarm clock ringing through my sensitive ears, waking me up from my slumber. I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes and shut the alarm off. I sighed through my nose. Another day has begun, time for my first day of school......again.

I got up and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower. After I was done, I wrapped my body with a towel and stared at myself in the mirror.

*Flashback*

"Y/N! Can you come down, honey?"   A woman in my memories yelled.

"Coming, mommy!"    A 12 year-old me ran down the stairs. "What is it, mommy?"   

"Come sit here, Y/N."    I remember it being dad's voice. Sensing the tense atmosphere, I slowly walked to the couch and sat next to mom.

"We have something to tell you, dear."     She looked so calm. So, I kept quiet for them to continue. "As you know, Y/n, we're in a tight situation because of all the rogue attacks recently."  He started.

"Okay...?"   Was the only word that left my mouth.

"We decided to move to another place for everyone to be safe."     Mom said.

"But why?"    I couldn't understand how urgent the situation was back then. 

"The pack is not safe anymore if we continue to stay here. You must understand your father as the Alpha of this pack. It's his duty to keep us safe."   Mom's warm hand caressed my head as she patiently explained to me.

Suddenly the Alpha's beta, Uncle Soohyun, burst into the house. "Alpha!" 

"What is it?"    The Alpha asked. "Its...."     He stopped when he saw me in the room. 

Probably not wanting to scare a little girl like me, he quickly jogged to the Alpha and whispered.  "The rogues entered our territory and are headed straight towards the pack house. It's not safe for your family to be here."    He glanced at the Luna and her daughter with worry in his eyes.

"Very well then, inform all the pack members to be ready."   My father commanded. Authority filled his voice.  

"What about the she-wolves and the pups?"   Asked Uncle Soohyun.

"Let the Omegas take care of them. They know what to do."    Said Alpha. Uncle Soohyun nodded and dashed out of the house to inform the pack through their mind-link.

"Honey, take Y/N to her room and don't let her come down."   Dad turned to mom.

"Okay."   The way she said it. It was as if she knew what was bound to happen. And it couldn't be avoided.

She brought me up to her room and started packing her stuff. I also remembered feeling scared.    "Mommy? Whats going on? Why are you packing my stuff?" 

"Oh, it's nothing, sweetie. No need to be worried, okay?"    She gave me a gentle smile. Like how a mother would to calm her child. If only I had noticed the hidden fear in her eyes.

A few moments later, she finished packing and went out of the room only for her to come back with a book in her hands. "Take this, Y/N."   She handed the book to her daughter. 

"What's this?"    I took it and observed the cover. "It's......"  She didn't even get to finish. We heard a familiar voice screaming and the front door burst open. "Oh no."    I saw her expressions turned to fear.
