Chapter I

"Athena!" I heard yaya Sary calling me.

"Athena! Luto na umagahan mo, kumain ka na! Ikaw talagang bata ka!" ugh. yaya Sary talaga, kaya mahal na mahal ko yan e, sabi nya lahat na daw makalimutan ko wag lang ang breakfast because it's the most important meal of the day.

"Opo yaya! Bababa na po!" I said while still lying on my bed. Inaantok pa ako because I had to finish my project

"Osige-sige, mag-ayos ka na muna, hihintayin kita sa kusina." Then she left.

Still lying on my bed, I stared at the ceiling remembering what happened last night. Oh God that was so wrong. All the heavenly bodies now the truth.

Fuck, Ano ba Athena! Kalimutan mo siya! I should forget him, He's Dangerous.

I went to the bathroom to do my morning rituals. I pinched my cheeks.

My God, Athena wag ka ng magpapadala sa mga smooth talk na yan. You've learned your lesson. Murmuring,still pinching my cheeks.

I went downstairs to see yaya Sary serving our food at the table.

"Oh Athena kumain ka na, bigla ma-late ka pa sa work." Naka-ngiti nyang sabi.

"Opo, yaya Sary where's mom and dad? Naka-alis na ba sila?" While playing with my waffles.

"Oo, eto nag-iwan si Ma'am Aphrodite ng box." Then she handed me the box with a note attached to it. I can smell lavanders.

Congratulations on your promotion! Dalaga na talaga baby girl namin. Sorry wala kami ng daddy mo ngayon at nasa Europe kami because of work but we promise to make it up to you soon! We love you!

My face quickly brightened up.

To see a Tiffany&Co. bracelet inside the small box it's embroided with expensive stones and my name carved on it.

"Athena..." I said, full of bliss.

Even though my parents are always out of town because of work. Hindi ko naman sila masi-sisi, para din naman ito sa future namin ni kuya. And yes, I have a brother. Close kami ni kuya Cupid, we're like partners in crime. Siya yung pinaka-una kong Best Friend. Medyo Heartbreaker din itong si kuya kasi ba naman napaka-hot at napaka-bait pa, okay napagna-nasaan ko si kuya sometimes,masi-sisi nyo ba ako? pero tumino dahil kay Rae. Hindi ko nga alam kung Friends sila or laruan lang ni kuya, you know what I mean *wink wink*

"Wabe..." Speaking of the devil.

"Yes wabe?" I said staring at him while eating some of my waffles.

Wabe ang tawagan namin ni kuya kasi nakakatamad daw banggitin yung pangalan namin, Toyo lang diba? Hahaha.

"I'm going to be late for dinner later wabe." I can see him using his puppy eyes.

"Why?"I gestured with a questioning look.

"Work." He said grinning.

"Really? Or you're gonna have sex with Rae again?"

Then he chocked on his orange juice.

"I knew it." I blurted out laughing.

"Wait! No! Where did you get that?!" I saw his face turn red.

"Hahahaha I have my ways wabe, don't worry your secret is safe with me. HAHAHA!" I can't stop laughing, hindi ko ma-ipinta expression nya ngayon.

"You should get going, you're gonna be late wabe." He said on a serious tone. Pffft. Change topic kaagad? Kill joy masyado.

"Okay, Umuwi ka ng maaga, bigla magkaroon ng magnitude 6.9 earthquake dito. HAHAHA!" I ran outside laughing, bigla magalit pa yun e, cutie nya kasi kapag na-aasar. I heard him say something but I just let it slide.

"Yaya Sary! Aalis na po ako!" I said while getting inside my car.

"Athena! Hintayin mo na si Ed!"

Si Ed asawa yun ni yaya, family driver namin sya for 16 years and counting, pareho sila ni yaya na 16 years na dito nag ta-trabaho. Ang sweet nga ni Mang Ed at Yaya Sary parang araw araw na nagliligawan, nagsusulatan pa rin sila ng love letters sa isa't isa.

"Wag na po, ako na po magda-drive." I said.

"Sige, Mag-ingat ka ha? Umuwi kaagad." She said wearing a worried look on her face.

"Oo naman yaya, Sayang naman po kapag nabawasan ang mga magaganda dito sa lupa." I giggled at pina-andar ko na ang sasakyan palabas ng gate.

While driving, I received a text from Nicole.
