Sebastian has been acting strange since yesterday. I mean, technically he's been doing his job as my butler well but for his usually outstanding doing he's been slacking. And I don't know why. I already asked him what was wrong but he said he was just tired. Tired? Like demons get tired! He's even slacking off in lying!

I just got out of the bathtub. Sebastian already dried me off and put on my white sleepshirt. Now he's brushing my hair. He's doing it very slowly today for some reason.

I tap my foot impatiently.

"Hey, hurry up. I'm tired." I say after a while.

Sebastian doesn't respond. He just continues to glide the brush through my hair.

What is wrong with him? Is he ignoring me?

"Hey!" I turn around.

I almost shoot back as I look into Sebastian's eyes that glow a demonic pink. He's bent over me so our faces are now close together.

What was he doing? Was he.. smelling my hair?

I look at him horrified. My cheeks probably flushed in embarrassment.

He quickly recovers and straightens his back. He closes his eyes and when he opens them they are the usual red-brown color.

"Excuse me." He apologizes.

"What is wrong with you?" I ask.

"Nothing. I was simply reminiscing on my youth." Sebastian looks away.

"..You had a youth?" I ask skeptically.

"Of course."

He's lying. What was he really thinking about?

"In any case, Let's get you to bed." Sebastian pulls the comforter of my bed open for me.

That's.. strange. He usually carries me to bed. Especially after I told him I was tired.

I sigh in frustration.

Whatever, it's not like I want his hands on me anyway.

I walk over to my bed.

"I could have been sleeping ten minutes ago if you hadn't wasted all my time 'reminiscing on your youth'."

"I apologize."

"Tch." Idiot.

I fell asleep quickly that night. And while I was sleeping I could've sworn I felt Sebastian's burning eyes on me.
