Aaron's POV
"Aphmau?!" I gripped her limp body. She didn't move. I ran towards where we had set up for the night.
"What's wrong?" Katelyn asked as I gently set Aphmau on the ground.
"We were walking and all the sudden she just collapsed. I don't know what to do." I set my hand on her chest. She still had a heartbeat and was breathing. Garroth walked over and squatted next to me.
"Has she eaten or drank anything?" Garroth snapped at Zane.
"No." He groggily responded.
"Well, she's probably just starving or dehydrated." Katelyn pitched in.
"She's right." Garroth looked at me. I sighed and nodded.
"You guys can go to sleep. I'll stay up and take care of her when she wakes up." I sighed. They nodded.
"Good night," Katelyn said. Her and Garroth went back to sleep and I looked down at Aphmau. She looked so peaceful, but I knew she was in pain. I kissed her forehead and held her in my arms.

She sat up and looked at me. "What happened?"
"You passed out. We think it's because you're dehydrated and starving. You're coming with me so I can get you some water first." I picked her up. I carried her towards a small river I had noticed. It was mostly frozen. I got on my knees and set her down next to me. She sat up as I looked to make sure the water was somewhat clean. It appeared to be. She took a drink and put her arms around me.
"Thank you for taking care of me and saving me. I never got to really thank you." She buried her face in my chest. I kissed her and she smiled up at me.
"Of course. You are my everything. I couldn't live without you." I smiled. She looked down.
"Y-You mean a lot to me too," She said, flustered.
I chuckled. "Now let's get you some food."
"Ok." She nodded. I carried her back to our camp and walked over to the bag we had food in. I grabbed a couple apples. I sat next to her by the fire and she started eating. I knew she was starving.
After a few minutes she was done. I held her in my arms and lied down.
"Thank you, Babe." She smiled.
"Of course. Good night." I kissed the top of her head.
"Good night." She cuddled up to me. We slowly drifted off to sleep.
