Aphmau's POV
We got into the village and Aaron and I got off the horse. I saw Travis standing outside talking to Zoey who was holding Lilith. I ran over to them and hugged Zoey. She smiled and handed me Lilith. I smiled and looked down at Lilith.
"I'm so glad you're safe." She smiled.
"Thank you," I said smiling.
"I missed you. I'm glad you're back." I overheard Travis say to Katelyn.
"I missed you too." Katelyn giggled. I looked at Zoey and she smiled.
"Yeah, Travis has been talking about her the entire time. I guess we didn't know it was mutual." Zoey smiled. I laughed. Aaron put his arms around my waist and I jumped.
"I love you." He kissed my neck.
"Well then." Zoey giggled.
"Uh, surprise..? We're in a relationship." I giggled.
"Pfft, I could tell. You guys always give each other these little glances and it's so cute." Zoey laughed. I looked up at Aaron and he smirked.
Suddenly I felt like I got punched in the stomach. I grunted and handed Lilith to Aaron.
"What's wrong?" Zoey looked at me.
"Zane attempted to pull the relic out of Aphmau, but it failed and now until we can get Lucinda to look at her she'll be getting these waves of pain." Aaron looked down at me.
"Then let me take Lilith and you two need to go to Lucinda. She actually left for Phoenix Drop through the portal about an hour ago." Zoey held her arms out. Aaron gave her Lilith and Aaron scooped me up. I giggled.
"I'm not in that much pain. I can walk." I insisted. He laughed.
"I don't care. I'm carrying you. Now we need to go to the portal now." Aaron started walking towards the portal as I sat in his arms.
