Chapter 5

Tymeki's P.O.V

               Me and my siblings were playing outside near the house. We were playing a game of 'Monkey in the Middle' and me and my little sister, Yui, would giggle at how slow our little brother, Hideki, was. As we kept throwing the ball over his head back at each other while he would jump with his little legs to try and catch it, we heard the sound of a car come around the corner. I drop the ball in confusion. 'Mama and papa are already home. So, who could that be?' That's when I froze... 'I've seen this before...Why do I have to watch this again?'

               As the car came driving down at high speed, I reached out to my siblings. "NOOOOOOO!" I screamed as I tripped the exact moment a hand holding a gun stuck out the window of the car. They had shot my siblings both. My sister ended up getting shot in the chest and my little brother, his neck. The bullet that was targeted at me ended up missing me by an inch. But all I could worry about was the blood that was suffocating my little brother. The sound of him gurgling his blood and not being able to speak. He reached out his hand and as I tried to grab it, I was carried away back into the house. When I turned around to yell at who dragged me away, I was all of a sudden 2 years older and caught my father stabbing my mother through the heart. He was having one of his episodes and grinned as the blood splattered across my face.

               My eyes locked onto her cold dead ones and when I looked up, we were in his room and it was 7 years later. He was playing his guitar playing the old song he used to play for us. That was right before his neck cracked into my direction and the scariest grin I've ever witnessed fell into his face. "Who are you?!" He yelled in the most shrilling way. He didn't even sound human anymore. But then he made his way towards me and I turned around to run to find the hallway to my room a lot longer. I started running and I ran as fast as I could.

               "WHO ARE YOU?!" His shrill yell echoed down the hallway after me. I felt like I was running for hours. But it was like I wasn't running as fast as I was able to. The hours turned into what felt like days and those days turned into weeks. Until finally, I made it to the door. But when I opened it, it wasn't my room, it was a forest. And when I walked in, I was young again.

               This didn't seem like a forest I've ever been in before. It was dark with a pitch black sky and no stars. But there were little orbs of light flying everywhere and lighting up the dark as best they could. I turned around to see that the door was gone and then were my worries. I let out a sigh of relief. I've had that nightmare for years but of course, the last bit was new.

               'But where am I now? What is this place?' I pondered as I looked around. There were thousands of light orbs all around me and they all glowed a bright yellow. Except for very few purple glows here and there. Then, 2 blue orbs appeared and danced around me and went in one direction. After a few feet, they floated in place. "Do you want me to follow you?" I asked and they spun around each other. "I'm guessing that's a yes." I replied with a small smile and followed them down a long path. Even though it was still dark, a huge tree came into view with a little boy sitting in front of it, laying back with his arm resting on one of the roots.

"Geez, It's about time you made it here. No pun intended." The boy says.

               When I got closer, the first thing I noticed about this boy was his little black horns that sprouted from his head. One of them seemed cut off. Then his pink scaly skin that seemed to glow and compliment his dark purple spiky hair. His right eye was purple and his left eye was pinkish. He had a scar over his right eye and a beauty mark on his left cheek.

"W-What are you?" I asked. He was clearly not human and I don't know why I was brought to him.

"Ryuu of the Time Dragons. The last one of my kind."

"Time Dragons?"

"Yes, that's what I said." He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes.

"Well, why was I led to a Time Dragon then?"

"...Isn't it obvious why? I'm sure you already know by now, unless you're in denial which is understandable. But you are the new Child of Time. Well, technically you've been the child of time for 14 years and only just realized that now."

I blinked and stared at him for a little bit before I decided to sit right in front of him.

"First, what is this place?" I ask calmly.

"...A graveyard I guess. A lot of the dead from your family and mines reside here."

"And you know this...how? You can't be any older than I am and-"

"It has nothing to do with age. But, I can assure you that you and I are both the same age. Both physically and mentally. I woke up here after you were born and was supposed to gain knowledge about this situation until I was able to contact you. But due to your mother's forbidden spell, your family and I were transported into a different dimension called America...I think. I'm not sure, that place was weird. Either way, I wasn't able to contact you. I'd fail every time I'd try, so I've just been waiting for the spell to break. And well, now here we are."

"What do you mean by my mother's spell? What do you know about my mother? She can't use magic." I say unsure.

"Listen, I don't know much about you or your mother personally. I just know what was planted in my head. You can sit here and ask questions if you want or sit here and listen so you won't have any questions to begin with. You must learn to accept these things as I tell you or else you won't be ready." he says sternly.

I calm down again and nod. "Fine." I started. I looked him in the eye.

                                                               "Tell me everything you know."
