Our First Connection

It's 8:42 AM as you open the door to the towns coffee shop. You walk to the end of the line and wait for your order to be taken. You're on your phone as you wait for your turn.
You glance up and see it's your turn to order. As you start to walk up to the counter, a girl, who's frantically managing to keep all of the items she's carrying off the ground, bumps into you. She drops everything she was carrying.
"Shit". She mumbles as she bends down and starts picking everything she dropped.
"Hey, um let me help you with that". You say as you bend down to help her.
"You guys can go ahead". You said to the people behind you. You're already late for work, but there's nothing wrong with doing a good deed. You manage to get everything picked up and put back into the girls arms.
"Thank you, so much. You don't know how grateful I am".
"Yeah, my pleasure".
She smiles and looks down.
You can't help but notice her beautiful smile. Her gorgeous eyes. They capture your soul, in a good way.
"I'd love to know your name after helping you with all that stuff". You say smiling.
"Victoria". She extends her hand and I meet her hands with mine.
"Y/N".
"Ahh, Y/N, well thanks again for helping me with my stuff".
"Well you're welcome again, Victoria, for helping you with your stuff".
You both giggle. You both stare at each other longingly. It's nice, but so clique. After a few seconds you hear someone behind you excusing themselves. As you move to the side, Victoria begins to speak.
"Well, I gotta go, it was nice meeting you, Y/N".
"Yeah, you too, Victoria".
She turns and walks out the door. You watch her walk away through the glass until she disappears. Even her walking is gorgeous. You should've asked for her phone number or something. You idiot. But you were so mesmerized by her. I mean I don't blame you.
It was Victoria Pedretti after all. :)
